Ok, ive stayed in Rwanda and Uganda, for at least 3 months, stayed in Kicukiro, Kigali and in Kira, on the outskirts of Kampala, moved around in both countries but I feel your analysis is painful and has many bad experiences. I tried to finish watching but I totally disagree on many points, maybe because im 🇿🇦 and look similar in both countries, and i think its vital who introduces you to a country, i had excellent hosts in both countries and I experienced for myself. The customer service in Rwanda is professional and in Uganda is friendly and costly. Like male South African, Rwandese womyen like their own men culture, they hardly marry outside of their country except Kenyans, Ugandans and Burundians, i found the women have rights and can express in a way that is disrespectful, a Rwandese woman is expected to be shy, they also want to make money, they work for their families, again maybe because I'm 🇿🇦, there's a little favor. Communication in English can be a challenge, so its good to learn Kinyarwanda/Swahili/French but you can get by with English, especially in the younger generation. In Uganda the women are so humble and kind, yes some like money but its like that in my country too, Kampala was like New York, so many guys studied overseas, accents, nice areas like Kololo but most of the roads are terrible, yet the buildings are great, its normal for a woman to kneel before a man, Ugandans are generous and friendly, Rwandese are careful to let you in their circle but once you are in, they are so kind, organised, efficient and cultured, their family unity is admirable. One thing impressed about Rwanda, a guy can take out a girl and they sit with a cold drink, nice🤗, in 🇿🇦😂😂😂 never, in Kampala too, i learnt. Equal in beauty, i think, especially in W Uganda, i wish you had such a lovely experience in both countries that I had👍

We heard of this from Managers of Nigerian banks subsidiaries in Rwanda and other East African countries...how staff show up late to work and are ready to close work on the dot of time...which was very strange in comparison to the average Nigerian strong corporate work ethics. Many of this Nigerian managers couldnt do much to address this attitude in their local staff because of host country's protectionist employment laws, shielding this lazy attitude in the corporate space.

Rwanda is approximately 26,338 sq km, (Kigali is about 730 sq. km), while Uganda is approximately 241,038 sq km, (Kampala about 8500 sq. KM) making Uganda 815% larger than Rwanda. Just by size alone, you are comparing apples and oranges. As long as I can remember, Rwandese and other East African countries surrounding Uganda have crossed over to Uganda for education and work. Unlike the Uganda turmoil which hurt the economy, killed at least 300,000, and displaced millions, Rwanda was given a quasi MARSHALL PLAN by the USA and European Union to rebuild after the genocide. Even today President Clinton is tormented by his decision to support the Balkan war freedom fighters while ignoring the genocide in Rwanda.

I agree though Rwandan food culture isn’t as great as Ugandan but I don’t think is that bad. There are tons of really good restaurants in Kigali especially in Kimihurura area. Rwandans eat more into veggies than meat. Most of them eat and prefer meat in brochettes than traditionally cooked meat. And there are really good spots with fantastic brochettes. Other than that tbh they are more or less the same as any other Africans. If you stay in Africa longer you will understand.

As a Rwandan, it really makes me laugh how other African perceive “Rwandan coldness” as “weird, unsettling and dystopian” 😂 You lot expect every Africans do be all dancing, speaking loud, jovial and simplistic… but wouldn’t expect the same from a Norwegian or Korean. Conform to the host country culture or get out ! remember from a local perspective your just a host and not some sort of main character we are supposed to entertain.

@@HK-vu7wf hey I don't think he was insulting your people. Don't feel offended. He's kind of not lying. And being cold, apathetic and seemingly out-of-touch is objectively not a good trait. Fortunately, it's something one can work on for self-improvement. I mean, we live in a globalized world, and apathy just doens't play in one's favor in cut-throat global competition. I studied with many Rwandans in Ntare and many adapted. Becoming more profound and involved. So yeah, I think guys are just suggesting objective individual improvement.

At the very start of the video i know how it will end ( taking you 30years back😂😂). Am a ugandan Rwandanian but not pleased with the judgement of uganda... I rate uganda the best in everything

Thank you for visiting us, (Uganda, please come again). Though from listening to you, you have taken so many things too personal and that has clouded your judgement and overall opinion on the research you have done on both countries. You need to be unbiased and attach no feelings whatsoever, given that you are helping many people from around the world to decide on which countries to visit or even settle...But we can't have clear information if feelings are attached here now,can we? Overall, Well-done.

To be honest,Uganda remains the best coz its the pearl of Africa,always the best for a person doing adventure or documentary coz it has a big history,only a district like wakiso in uganda might even be bigger than Rwanda as a country.Uganda has many cultures that you would like to explore,but all in all uganda is more wealthier and developed than Rwanda. Rwanda being a small country makes it easier for development than a big country like Uganda whose Government is not favouring.

Im a sri lankan, i have visited some african countries like Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Uganda also. Uganda was gud, everything was so cool there, beautiful nature just like in my mother land and delicious food. (I liked ugandan cousine but tbh they were not spicy enough for me i guess, i mean gud food but in my country i eat lot of flavors and spices) but Uganda was amazing! I will visit Rwanda also someday.... (sorry for my poor english)

Both countries are equally 👌 the best to me when it comes to natural resources and topography.... The only thing that makes one or the other better is the state of mind of the people in both countries 💯. Poverty Starts in the Mind!!!! Otherwise, its a personal preference of the individual.... Good 👍 Q? Though! Respect.....

Willie, I learned a lot from this video. I recommend Nigeria will be the best fit for you. For me, I’ll stay away from Rwanda and Uganda. I’ve heard similar story about Ethiopian ladies not having relationships with someone outside their tribes as in Rwanda. Too bad they have not reconciled their differences that led to the massacre years ago.
@Kim-2509 ай бұрын
There are only two tribes in Rwanda, and we've intermarried. We've mixed so much that the notion of tribe no longer has any meaning. What we don't do is marry foreigners. Please educate yourself.

@user-yz8jj2gu7h People have preferences. Most people prefer to marry their own compatriot, whether Japanese, Italian, or Israeli. Many Rwandans are married to foreigners. I have family members who have married Belgians, Quebecers, Cambodians, Americans, Senegalese and Trinidadians.
