Playing Densha de GO! Professional (1999) with the special train controller, this is a original game for the PlayStation by Taito. Driving the KiHa 110-300 series (キハ110形300番台) in a "Akita Relay" (秋田リレー) Limited Express train service on the Ōu Main Line (奥羽本線) to Ōmagari (大曲). This was a connecting service between Akita and the Tōhoku Shinkansen (at Kitakami Station) just before the opening of the Akita Shinkansen. After Ōmagari the trains continued on the Ōu Main Line to Yokote, changing there to the Kitakami Line and continuing to Kitakami to connect with the Tōhoku Shinkansen services. The section included in the game is from Akita to Ōmagari.

Hi! You need to complete a certain amount of km in the game to unlock it, I think it was 900km. Your total amount is displayed on the main menu screen, on the bottom right. Hope this helps! 😉
