This was a great watch! Learned tons about densha de go. Only recently discovered this was on the 64 and have been playing it. So sad the franchise is a Japan only release.

i appreciate this video, it's pretty thorough and informative. I'm a huge space invaders fan, but thanks to this review I think I'll give this collection a miss. It looks like mobile fan games rather than anything amazing. I was hoping it'd be more like Tetris Effect was for Tetris.

Is there a mode where you can just sit in the passenger carriage while it goes round by itself? I'd get it for the nostalgia alone but I've never been the driver of a train lol. Call me sad, but sometimes I record a lap in Driveclub VR and view the replay while I sit in the back and get driven around like when I was a kid lol

In Japan right now and can only say about 10 Japanese phrases. Played this in the arcade and had a lot of fun - the google translate app came in handy. We just purchased a PS4 copy in Akihabara - I reckon you'd figure it out.

Hello Alex I came across your channel by accident and have been enjoying your videos. You are very engaging and have inspired me to purchase JR East game. Also I am going to Japan next month so a great introduction to the rail system. Now I have a PC and would like to get the Densha controller . Can you please confirm the model to buy and the latest link to the controller tool. Also does it plug straight into a USB on the PC or do I need an adapter. Can you use zuiki switch controller with both switch and ps4? If so could you do tutorial please? Are the ps4 versions better video?? Thanks! As funtonite says is "shuppatsu shinkō", meaning "departure (signal) clear". That is, that the signal for departure has a green light (clear) so we can depart and leave the station. And pointing forward is part of the shisa kanko, the safety measure used by Japanese railways of always pointing and calling the signals in order to acknowledge them 😉

Glad you liked it! 😄Yeah, it was released back in December. Video is not as good as the JR East Sim, but the game presentation and available modes makes this game totally worth it

Love the sound effects, the graphics are jittery and choppy compared the JR Sim. if they can resolve that, this will be very nice

It's not 3D rendered and is actually just playing back a video taken on the real train. So depending on how you drive the train it might have choppy playback. I don't know if the JR sim is also a video

Yeah, the video quality is not up to the JR East sim standard but still a solid recommendation if you enjoy FMV-based train sims 👍

Thank you for your great driving! I had maintenanced this train 211Kei before. I surprised you are familiar for the system of Japanese train and several type of ATS. Please visit around of Oito line, there are lot of beautiful places for 4 seasons if you will get a chance!

Hi Yamanote... hope you're well... The DDG Team Patch ddgfinalen-1.0.zip for Densha de Go! Final is blocked by Google on their Gdrive Site stating that only the Owner of the file is allowed to D/L the file... Can you inform the Owner?! Please or Is there any other Way to download the Patch? Thanks for your Help... cheers....

I am currently watching all of your videos while i have to study for my final exam tomorrow and honestly its worth it. I have had the luxury to ride the enoden once this year and the 300 is by far my favourite train ever. Thanks for the great video and making me fail all of my exams!

I just got mine and it works great for JR East and Train Crew but is unresponsive on the switch. I am at a loss. Tried restarting, pairing, nothing seems to work.
