Maybe when they said “had my first class today”, they only meant their first class literally today, meaning that day they were typing that comment..?

He’s maybe saying he started before and then carried on typing the message when he got his stripe lol cause there’s no way he got a stripe on his first lesson if so bad professor as I got mine after 4 months going 3 times a week maybe he is naturally good but it should take more than one class to decide

First off you shouldn’t even be learning submissions on your first class besides MAYBE a rear naked or guillotine Second there’s no way you should’ve gotten a stripe on your first class even if you’re really that guy

Im starting bjj next month at the age of 20. After a year or so im gonna also start taking wrestling. I wanna specialize in No Gi then after purple belt I’m done going to a dojo and switching over to an mma gym so my base will be bjj/wrestling but I’ll able to strike and kick and learn different style of bjj since a lot of submissions u would never attempt in a cage fight. And once I’m good enough or confident in myself finna start my amateur career then return back to the dojo environment to continue my belt journey while training mma.
