These guys are amazing. I lived in Japan and the pressure there to conform is intense in a way that is kind of hard to understand if you haven't had much experience with the culture. These guys are really sticking out their necks and letting the freak flag fly. Incredibly creative music. It's no wonder they had to leave Japan to get noticed.

Saw them open for Khruangbin last Saturday. The lights are all dim and I'm like "There's five guys on stage with effing black wigs like Khruangbin wears, what is this shit?" Lights turn on and it was actually Asians with long black hair. Wild, wild performance. Really good.

I just got recommended this video, which led me to checking their website.... where I found that they are currently on a final tour and going on "indefinite hiatus" at the end of 2022.
