It's good to see Fluegel is no longer the "slightly better version of P04", but the fact that it's melee boost now outshines Gridwalker makes me feel a bit sad for the latter though...

Call it personal bias, but double melee is honestly the hardest build to use in S Rank with the highest skill ceiling AND the highest style to it.

I was a BOV player before the Ranked update, and I'm still sticking with that playstyle with Sampus as substitutes. It's really the only way I can play melee personally. I wish I could utilize melee dashing a lot better...

​@@GawainW just practice it a lot offline until it becomes second nature-- then take it online (if you're like me, the pressure will make you regress a little at first) to get used to using it in real matches against real people. I'm not the best at it but I made an effort to learn it and have played double melee a LOT. It's so fun, but definitely unforgiving of user error. I'm only A rank but tbf to me I only got the game at the end of December.

Fluegel is really nice (still love Kikaku). NGL though, I also frequently use Alula on melee builds-- and even NGI on a couple of them. Lately been running a bit of a quasi-BVO style midweight-- similar to Thryfe's chaingun build except with an etsujin replacing the chain gun, vp46 arms, and a couple internals swapped. Won my last game with it actually by falling back into melee cancels. It was so perfect because I hadn't melee cancelled a single time in the first round, and I think that movement really surprised my opponent because my tactics from round one to round two were completely different. Anyway, done rambling. I just love this game. Great video!

That is a bold statement to make, that fluegal is better than kikaku for double melee. In my not small experience with both since patch, fluegal is great because it gives melee the ecasion it desperately needed, but you trade that out for the ability to hit lighter faster builds that kikakau's thrust lets you do. Hitting an alula uses with only 14k melee thrust already the easiest thing, but with 12k it seems near impossible most of the time. Truely, the power of each booster is reflected by the meta. In a faster meta kikaku will be a better call, but in a slower meta, especially one where everyone packs hard hitting explosive weapons, fluegal will be better. They are literally equally meta dependent.

indeed it depends on matchup whether you use fluegel of kikaku. tho, if your melees can reliably hit enemies (or you can predict their qb timing well enough) i'd prefer going with fluegel. one reason i still use kikaku sometimes is the en cost, especially when melee cancelling or aqb-ing (fluegel's fast but quite costly, depends on core too).

I use Fluegel before patch just because it's slightly faster than P04 and pretty good all rounder. And now I might change some of my melee build to this one instead of Alula.

@@GloriousGEO Yeah, its only for pve and I clear all three endings of AC6 because this build. But I trying to create pvp melee build for ranked match. However, it seems very tricky to use since players try running around or keeping distance from me when I try to land a hit. So, feel free change my AC melee build that is good on both of pve and pvp of your heart’s desire if you want to. Also, I try those boosters and they’re good. Thanks for showing your video and helping me out.

I don't fully understand what I'm seeing here? Watching the clips, you seem to use a mixture of Fluegel, Kikaku and Alula boosters through the video with no real dissemination of which unless you're looking for it. The Fluegel does feel good up trying it out myself, but I would argue the title of the video is a little misleading. Love your vids, just confused by this one

Man i just cannot for the life of me figure out how to beat these gdm laser/bazooka cheese boats. Especially with the way the hit registering system works for those 2 things. Get staggered and boom double fasan/lcb/earshots and ur dead. To each their own but..... i just cant wrap my head around its how its fun for people to try and cheese every fight
