I was a chef in a hotel where she stayed when this was released and she was touring the UK. Kiki asked to speak to the chef to see what was recommended for lunch and so I came to her table where she was sitting with her two minders and I get my photo taken with her. Still a special memory and a great photo all those years later. And a fabulous song. 🤍

@matthewdouglas1567 It was way back in the 1980s. I only remember recommending her something with mushrooms! She had two bodyguards with her. It was a simple Northern Irish hotel lunch menu back then. My decade in the Tel-Aviv Hilton had more fine dining cuisine. Those were the days of feeding prime ministers and pop stars. Now I am a terminally ill kidney patient with Amyloidosis and cannot work like before, so all mostly memories now... Good to hear you're a fellow chef (retired). That job can take you anywhere in the world. 👨‍🍳
