Kiki's phrasing here very similar to classic era 5th Dimension. Can easily imagine Marilyn McCoo killing on this! Great record btw.

aka "Mad Dad" Yeah kinda of a Fifth Dimension and Eternity's Children sound in various sections of the tune.

The Australian artist Gabrielle Cilmi has just done a version for the new film Soulboy. Available on a 3 track cd i think. Have'nt heard it yet woild like to hear comments. I think people frown on these records because they categorize them as pop and are predominantly recorded by white artists.

I think Kiki has the better voice, but this version sounds like an ad for a travel company. Gabrielle Cilmi sounds a little flat in places singing this, but the arrangement is much better, and once she gets going GC sounds ok. Used to love Kiki Dee as a teenager :)
