@@kikoloureiroofficial Personal for Kiko: surely you've learned by now that grass is greener on the other side... and how Being In A Big Band Is A Machine (and is like working at 7-11 in some ways!)...from signing a zillion autographs to playing arenas that are lifeless cinder block prisons (!) to doing the same songs every single nite. When Megadeth is done, you should come see how the OTHER half lives: us wild and fun and crazy musicians who rock outdoors every day (Pop-Up concerts!) and we sometimes rock out of our cool, tricked-out avant-disco-explosion vans [xmas lights, sequin curtains, etc!] and every moment is fun and we are our own bosses, and we make instant cash any time we want, with NONE of the hassles! (We also don't have to hit airports (YUCK!) and our profit margin is 90% higher than Led Zeppelin or Michael Jackson's! PLUS, those acts had to travel so far and so much....BECAUSE they only preached to the choir / converted. When my acts play outdoors, we are loved by EVERY HUMAN WITH EYES AND EARS (we're very visually fun too, including post-rock star clothes!) -- far bigger audience than The Beatles or Pink Floyd!! EVERY major musician says the best thing about touring is that 2 hours onstage. Well then... just come up with an outdoor pop-up project (low-tech low-maintenance) and play all day and night, or whenever you feel like it! EX: ALL LAST SUMMER... i spent it on Hampton Beach in NH (very colorful beach strip of nightlife etc), just playing my Tronic Uke (with one Boss delay-looper and Behringer $99 battery PA thing) with the warm ocean breeze every night, and strangers all yelling my name ("Timi Hendrix!!") [I have a funny sign] and so many ppl coming up to share booze with me or grass! Festive ALWAYS! PARADISE!!! if Kung Flu doesn't kill us all, your next venture should be to come rock out with us for a weekend to see how to do music CORRECTLY! (I've never ever wanted to be in a Big Band on any Big Label. I worship FREEDOM over everything else. I'm not impressed by fame or money.) If I had more money, i'd have a tricked-out panel truck that's a Mobile Nightclub (!) / mobile rock venue! Currently, anywhere there are people, I just pull up my gold van, hit the xmas lights, and suddenly it's a magnet, and then my pals and I start rocking OUTTA the van! (ex: my Ludwig Jr kit usually stays in the back of the van and I play it with the back window open while the guitarist / singers are out the side door of the van! (Sometimes they rock out the side while I'm driving!) Sooooo much fun. I've toured the world as a guitarist, singer, drummer, etc... and I actually love touring.. but it's Sooooo inefficient and dumb. (Most of my projects are improv or structured improv, so every moment is FUN and adventurous and creative!) I WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME AT 14 THAT "PLAYING OUTDOORS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVERY OTHER DECISION A MUSICIAN CAN MAKE"!

I'm sure if Kiko wanted t to live the lifestyle that you do, he could, but he doesnt and thank god for that. Youre way of performing is not better but maybe just more suited for you. Enjoy it but I doubt Kiko has been banging down your door to join your ragged bunch of gypsy musicians.

BTW..great "soundtracks" from your own music , Kiko... Kiko, queria pedir por favor cara, pra vocês do megadeth mandar um recado pro meu sogro cara, ele adora o som de vocês. Ele teve um AVC, e está se recuperando aos poucos ainda está com o lado direito paralisado, umas das bandas que mais deixa ele animado é o Megadeth. E tem sido difícil ele se sente humilhado demais por todo mundo ver ele daquele jeito no hospital. Poxa cara, da uma força pra gente dar uma animada nele, pq ele tá ficando meio deprê.
