I love how we live in a time in which for free we can learn megadeth riffs from the guitarist from megadeth. While I may know all these riffs I would like to thank you for this as it’s incredibly important useful for the new guys so thanks kiko.

We live in a time where the musician (kiko) wants others to play well. And instead of having to play by ear or look up tab we get a behind the scenes look. Thats what separates megadeth from some of the other big names in metal.

Thank you very much as always Kiko. Time is valuable, so I always appreciate the time you take to put together these videos for us all to enjoy. I can only speak for my own ability to learn songs, but I find it very helpful to see someone play some riffs before I can finally get them right. Even with the notation right in front of me, and the studio recording to reference, there's always a riff or 2 I can't get quite right, or at all in some cases. Then I finally see a video of it played where I can see the picking as well as confirm it's fretted the same way the notation states. Very easy to find live performances online nowadays for such things, not so easy when I first started out 30 years ago... Don't tell Dave, lol, but I had a VHS copy of Metallica's "Cliff Em All" live performance tape, a Kill Em All tab book (not even, I borrowed from a friend and photocopied the entire book), and a real shitty copy of the album on tape. That was how I taught myself to play, and it never would have worked if not for meeting people who played along the way. I'd get pointers here and there, not put in the work like I should have, and I got decent but could have been much better if I'd practiced more. I never used my pinky and am kicking myself now because I'm the process of now using it and trying to correct other bad habits I've essentially started over again relearning how to play everything. Funny how little habits can be so unnoticeable after a while until you try to correct them. As far as the learning on Kill Em All thing, I guess Dave wouldn't be too upset, it was a lot of his shit on that one anyways, and Megadeth was too hard or I'd have loved to start there. Funny thing about the tab book too, I snuck into the office at school to use the copier at lunch, they should invest in better locks😂, and got caught with about 10 pages left. The secretary helped me get my last 10 pages when I explained what I was up to. She wanted to make sure I had my tabs so I'd have something constructive to do on my week suspension for breaking into the office😂😂😂 I grew up in a good era, nowadays they'd have called the cops and made me a felon at 15 years old. She told me to put the book away in my backpack before she brought me in to the principal to receive my vacation😂. Anyways, thanks again Kiko, it's much appreciated.
