I listen to everything from 1920's jazz to death metal. Nothing pulls emotion out of me like Kila does.

I used to listen to this every night at 10pm-late while in the office working on my PhD. Still don't know whether I'd have finished without them. God this brings back memories. Absolutely amazing (beautiful and incredible) performance with a perfect finale! Love you Kila!!

Ronan was my best mate at Scoil Lorcain primary school, Eaton Square, Blackrock. I haven't seen him for nearly 40 years. He looks just as intense as he always did.

What a lovely surprise, missing Greek dance, randomly coming to this clip not ever knowing this group, hearing bouzouki and notes from the amazing Mikis Theodorakis fused with traditional Irish melodies and the talent and skill of these musicians. Yasou! A fan is born.

Great fkn show! I've been listening to this band for over a decade and they never cease to kick my ass. Saw them live in Oly more than a few months back - a much more "bare - bones" version. One of my favorite shows ever! Thanks for sharing this goodness - wish I could get this on DVD!

Kila I Shouted, You Are a Poem of Everything That Is Bodhrán, triantán, fiddle, freenotes, 'hang' steel drum, I am out there, dancing, here in layer after layer in the birth of sound, uileann pipes, low whistle, ancestral flute, constellations burst out of the earth, electrified feet alive in the astral wilds, note on note, novas of light exploding music, pounding deep rhythm, above, under, around, within, bass guitar, fiddle, lap steel, tabla, tambourine. Kila took me out here to unexpected healing, unseen voices before and behind, bells, shakers, holographic bog oak bass, the ancient quaking universe alive as sound.

It was Rossa and he said "seo do mo athair Padraig O'Snodaigh...tá fós linn buíochas le dia...agus (treise?) leis" which means "this is for my father...still with us thanks be to god...". I'm not sure of the second last word, it could mean that he is still strong/healthy.
