capo is actually important: on some of the c# chords played, the high e and b strings are left unfretted, giving you an open g# and eb given the 4th fret capo. this is especially important for some parts of the bridge/breakdown leading up to the solo. i used to play this song without a capo and questioned why josh played it with a capo but after close listening and seeing them live i realized he played the 'open' (capo'd) high strings on the c# chord

Hi, first time to this channel and I won't be coming back. Immediately turned off by your attitude toward the song. Not only are you disrespectful and missing why the capo adds value (it's not to make it easier), you also just didn't even get the second chord of the song right, so I don't even see the point of trying to look past who you are to learn something. I hope anyone coming to this channel doesn't take cues from you on how to be a part of the music community. Music doesn't have to be complex to have value.
