Nice man...The answer to the question below is he added 2 relays if I am correct and tapped into an ACC/Ignition start positive/hot wire (basically the key switch or push button on used to turn the car on. Nice breakdown to probably what electrical people already know. Thanks!

My kill switch is my Astro. It kills itself. 😂

Well, I don’t think it had the threat of being stolen in the first place. 🙃

What power source did you end up tapping into after the fan relay didn't work? I don't think that was ever mentioned.

I believe I ended up piggy backing off of an ignition wire on the steering column. It was the only one that wouldn’t drop power when in the start position. For this specific vehicle I believe it was the white wire.

Why didn't you just install a diode to stop the backfeed from the ECM that kept the relay latched?

Making a small bread board that’s universal would be a better step. With diodes and such, maybe something that just replaces the injector relay, or fuel pump relay. But yeah, I did what I could with what I had in hand. And having diodes on hand isn’t something that my line of work calls for daily. Can’t really just run down to radio shack anymore.

@@MechanicalTriage yeah, this is do-able without knowing the use of a diode. Use what you have. thanks again.
