Hey everyone! Thanks for watching the Kill Tony youtube channel! I'm trying to revamp the channel because, as you've noticed, it's been neglected for a while. My goal is to get up episodes as quickly as possible, add some short clips that can be shared easily, and post as many past episodes as possible. Please be patient with me, it's a ton of work. on the sound levels note, you guys should seriously look into compressor / limiters and put a few 100 bucks into a rack that has those for at the very least the random person's mic. with them properly setup you could make quiet people's volume adjust to a normal one, and when people scream it wouldn't ever clip. the sound aspect of the show at times is easily the worst thing, a few episodes i just had to skip because i couldn't hear the stage person at all. and the idea / random shit that happens is just so top tier, i love this show and so glad to see comedy back. this reminds me of listening to joey diaz in a way. pretty sure they added that compressor/limiter setup eventually, but at one point it was from like whisper to full on joey clipping the mic. it would be a small thing, like a 2U rack or slightly bigger. very portable.

God Redban...fix the damn audio. I have my phone/computer on max Volume just to hear it at a low audible volume. No one cares about VR 360!

audio output on phone's is notoriously low. the audio on here isn't the best, but fwiw you can buy something called a passive preamp for like $30 and boost phone outputs a lot. i use it with my car's aux input because anything even on max is still quiet with the car audio cranked. i think part of the audio problem is from people who get up on stage and don't talk into the mic loud enough / close enough. i can't for the life of me find the link for the damn thing right now but they are out there. it's just a little passive circuit in a box that gives a nice gain boost enough for headphones from a phone or car stereo.

Florentina Tanase was really good, and it's nice to discover talented yet obscure comics through this show. It reminds me though, that upper-middle class, 'well bred' comedians are rarely ever truly hilarious. Sarah Silverman is arguably an exception. A certain grit and friction of creativity they lack. In performance. She could be a great writer, though.
