I completely agree with you. There was only pyaar ka junjuna in kill. Same elite mindset was shown in the beginning of the story. None of the lead characters were relatable, on the other hand Animal me lead characters se hum emotionally jud pate hai aur saare elite aur pseudo feminist agenda ko dhwast kiya tha Sandeep Reddy Vanga ne. The only films I feel which are comparable to Animal are Vikram and Leo. People hate on Leo because on the first watch it seems like a generic stylized action film but when you watch it again and again the film starts to reveal itself, its not a generic film, it's a character study of parthiban, film doesn't tell you anything about the duality of his character but rather shows it in a subtle way, for example when Vijay murders the goons in order to save his daughter look at his reaction, for a typical person after doing such thing their first reaction is to check whether the child is safe but parthiban breaks down because now he sees his second family and second life crumbling which he built in peace after years and only after that breakdown he composes himself and checks whether his daughter is safe or not but still sits around depressed like everything has ended. These type of little subtle details are in the whole film especially Vijay's eyes conveys the emotions of Leo while his facial emotions are of Parthiban. Also the character of Vikram is similar to Ranvijay, they can go to any length to save their family, Animal shows it on the face but Vikram is subtle about it, like Vikram goes to the length to make his family hate him and disconnect from him so that when he goes on his mission they don't come in harm's way, and he would even ruin wedding and replace his body with someone else deliberately in order to fake his death, and even after his grandson dies he still keeps himself composed like an agent would. I really want to see a conversation between Lokesh, Sandeep and Rajamouli ji because they are next level directors. Lokesh makes artistic cinema disguised as commercial film meanwhile Sandeep adds commercial elements in his artistic vision.

Not to forget even Leo's birth date was on "friday the 13th" means Leo is devil, OH DAMN . And it is going to keep us in suspense if Leo is going to be villain again or will remain anti-hero. I also would like to see conversation beteeen Sandeep, Lokesh, Upendra and Rajamouli in future if possible.

​@@NRGagrawal actually Leo is not a proper remake movie btw it is an adaptation of the graphic novel "A History of Violence" if you see the runtimes of both movies then you will understand why both movies are different. In One Side Leo's runtime is 2h 44min while on the other hand A History of Violence's runtime is only 1h 36min. So it is not a proper remake because Lokesh has added a lot additional scenes in the movie.

I personally think Animal is way better than Kill, and Kill is a bit better than Marco. Spoiler: The family massacre scene in Marco (Possibly the most gruesome scene in an Indian movie) was a very easy and cheap trigger. Moreover, the purpose of Marco's drive was gone (Protecting his family). I did not see any point in watching the movie further. The revenge was also very quick and unsatisfactory. On the other hand Animal is worthy of multiple rewatches, bloody entertaining, fleshed out characters, clear drive of each character, engaging throughout. Animal peaks in all departments, hands down

Pratik Ji. I feel both Animal and Kill are wonderful movies in their own ways, it should not be compared. For me, Kill has fantastic screenplay and crisp editing, just like ANIMAL. Kill is basically a movie based on 'attacks by bandits' on a moving train, and two Army commandos take the responsibility to battle them and save the passengers, in such cases, they cannot make any one-to-one conversations with bandits because bandits are brutal and unapologetic, they came to steal things and leave the train in next station, so two commandos can only beat them with their fighting skills that they learnt in their training, so director cannot take any cinematic liberty and show any unique fighting skill to appease audience (as we saw in ANIMAL), the director Nikhil kept the scene raw and unpredictable and didn't go for massy larger than life actions, so that audience can feel that a real ARMY commando is fighting, not a father-obsessed hero like Ranvijay using heavy guns in ANIMAL. Director's detailing can be seen when the main lead hero was seen using perfumes and aftershaves as weapons that he finds in the baggage of passengers, the hero only used the accessories available in train like bedsheets and blankets to fight the bandits, he didn't carry any special gun, while bandit's were shown using Katta and chakku which is realistic, again a special detailing by director. In Animal, the movie scale in bit large, happening over a period of time, a big mansion, big influential family and more characters, more drama so more conversations, so more depth in dialogues, so Sandeep Reddy has more scope to play with screenplay unlike in KILL, so we can't expect similar depth dialogues in KILL because the entire incident is happening on a moving train and in only one night, so the key is "Time is less, only action can save lives". Coming to visuals, the train incident is taking place in night, so the director and DOP showed exactly what middle class normal public would see in a AC coaches while travelling and the DOP did a good job because while watching the movie, I too felt like I'm inside the train, while in ANIMAL, director SRV usually adapts Godfather movie kind of visuals as in his last two films and DOP Amit Roy delivered the same for ANIMAL.♥

I am not saying about for Marco because Literally the movie was average from the storyline POV but Kill is a very well made movie without meaningless yapping and unnecessary Papa Papa thought out the Movie. In Animal, He don't listen to his father all but he loves his father what kind of logic is this. In case the real animal was Balbir Singh because everything was under his control, he genuinely loved his son because no police ever caught Ramvijay. That film and a lot of plot holes, when Balbir Singh was shot that time also doctor could have tested is blood reports and would have told his suffering from blood cancer. But after all the movie he dies at the end. Then what's the point of all this violence. And if we talk about violence, then yes kill is a masterpiece because it gave you raw action just like old boy ( I don't even feel you know this movie, because the kind of stupid you are). Just want to give you a reference about one scene from kill movie where the hero kills Ashish vidyarthi's character don't you feel that's a good action Interpretation And if you want to watch an action movie which is on a moving vehicle, have a reference to the movie Speed of Keanu Reeves. Ramayan and Mahabharat are full of action but characters have depth, there is also drama. Such type of storytelling is liked by mass Indian audience. I watched kill, animal and marco. I feel Marco film is inspired by animal. Wohi family pe attack honepar sabko maarne nikal padta hai but, it was better version of action. But I can definitely say that kill movie is faar better in action and realism than animal and marco. Kill movie ka hero and friends army ka commando hota hai. Toh jab wo stunts karte hai wo justifiable hai. Animal me ranbir kapoor ek billionaire ka beta hai, na koi Army personal na koi gunda. wo aadmi rakhkar logo ko maar sakta hai (khud socho jiske paas andha paisa ho wo apni jaan ka risk kabhi nahi leta). My honest opinion on these films(in hinglish😅)- 1st Animal- Mujhe Main lead se nafrat ho gayi thi when he slept with the other woman for very lame reasons while he was a child's father and having a dedicated wife. Film tried to be very dominant on the audience, needlessly long and was lacking some basic morality in the name of violence, Action was below mediocre. On the plus side film was unique in Bollywood, appreciated by audience, didn't hesitate to show violence and did a successful business. Don't worry Pratik bhai, not an Bhandwood agent but I personally didn't like the film that much(different tastes😅). 2nd Kill- Kill ka concept unique toh nahi kahunga lekin existing tha magar mene jitna expect kiya utna khaas nahi dikha kuch bhi. Hero ka physique chor de toh acting below average tha, thik thaak bhi nahi keh sakta. Heroine 404 ho jaati hai shuruwat mein hi. Trains itni saaf nahi hoti plus villains were appeared to be so dumb, literally worst writing I have seen in movies. On Plus side Raghav juyal was way to underrated, has done the best job in the movie in my opinion. Sound effects and mixing were high in quality, screenplay was tight and suspenful until climax. Rageful, bloody, aggressive, full of revenge fighting scenes. Just one time watch but a nice action movie. 3rd Marco- Bhai sahab Mai jyada kuch keh sakta iske baare mein sochna bhi nahi chahta. The Story is just for the set piece, uske baad non stop Action plus Rocky bhai ka dialogue😂- Violence Violence... Samajh Rahe ho👉
