I think that is part of it Joshua. And I think some of the ways we do that is by being in God's word, spending that alone time witb Him, giving our struggles and fleshly desiring to Him and choosing Him, knowing that He has loves me and died for me.

@MichaelPearce-dl5tq alone time isn't simply setting time aside in prayer, though that is part of it. It is setting time aside, free of distractions and worries of the world. Giving your heart to God and being in His presence, whether in the Bible, in prayer, or meditating on His goodness and His Son, Jesus Christ. Spending time with Jesus is key for any Christian to walk out God's will daily. The Islamist can't do this no matter how many times they pray, because they don't believe in Jesus, and that He died for their sins and rose again and really was God. We, Christians, have been given the Holy Spirit and He has come to dwell in us, so that we can be in His presence wherever we go. Not only during "set times of prayer."

Revelation 4:4-11 " 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty- four( 24 ) others thrones, and seated on them were twenty- four elders. Put together all the negative things that cause harm to yourself or others and let those thoughts or intentions die. That kills the action. Replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts. And you are free. In Christ's name Amen. ❤️
