" God's been a real sport to me! " Walken's portrayal of Johnny is remarkable. He achieves a deep sorrow for his situation with little dialogue. His facial expressions tell the tale. Brilliant work!

I also have the gift or curse of Second Sight depending on how you look at it and Johnny Smith was right you do die inside when the Spells come and you can't stop them or avoid them he was an amazing man even though it's just a movie LOL but I've been like this since I was 5 years old and sometimes it scares me

God brought Johnny back to stop all the murders. The final second sight was most important. He stop the mass murder from destructing the entire world. Johnny was given an anointed calling to save mankind.

The sequence shortly before she walks in to the living room: After the baby is down and sleeping, she just sits there for a second, head bowed, thinking over what she's about to do. then a deep intake of breath and her mind made up, goes into the living room and changes Johnny's life . Up until that moment, he was, and rightly so, bitter, angry, had purposely cut himself off from the world. Yeah, you know the story, they finally have sex but its the hug just before that shows how much is left unsaid between these characters. It makes it all the more heartbreaking when they keep running into each other throughout the film and how the films climax finally resolves things between them.
