What a classic. Great premise, so well executed, Walken's delivery. And the 6 seconds of complete dead air as Walken searches for the line "you're gonna leave the coffee in the cab!" I laughed several times, usually it's just a smile or a chuckle with SNL.

I will always have a fondness for Christopher Walken's shaken "Dead Zone" stare when he grabs someone's hand. My mom used to impersonate his shaken stare when she grabbed my hand. It was something that always made us laugh. I miss her and her goofiness so much. 😔

Funny to see Walken lampoon his Johnny Smith character from The Dead Zone. The movie itself was one of the best adaptations of a King novel. Excellent actors and Cronenberg's direction made for a quiet horror tale. No one who saw the film will ever forget Walken's delivery of one line. " The ICE is gonna BREAK! " A real winner!

I remember watching this the night it came out and laughing so hard. There's so much going on. I love how they all jump when he jumps and how he clutches the people while he's having his visions. The final punch line with Chris Rock was perfect, a perfect way to end it. No one breaks, no holding back laughter, all pros.

Mine too. Another favorite is This Old House starring John Larroquette as Bob Villa in a haunted house. But I haven't been able to see the clip in ages, just the transcript. This cast's episodes don't seem to be available for streaming, and they got short shrift when they did the SNL by the decades as they were part '80s, part '90s.

I get the impression that Christopher Walken comes from this old school performer tradition where people were trained so well in the fundamentals that they could do anything. He's been the lead, he's been the support, he's been hilarious, he's been serious, he's danced, and sang, and hosted, and been a guest, and the whole time he's been amazing.

Chris Walken has become an all time absolute favorite actor. The Deer Hunter gave me my first view of CW in a film that I had pushed aside thinking it would be another dud Vietnam movie. Boy did I blow that one. Walken was the intense character but never let on his pent up feelings in the usual way. Many movies later and I am always looking for a new release of his to appear. Pulp Fiction to King of New York his versatility is astounding. Damn good dancer too!

This is hilarious, and relatable. I have precognative dreams sometimes, use to all the time as a teen. Always in movies, psychics see such profound things. I would see myself in class, doing a math equation with a formula I'd never used before. Or would know when I was about to find a bee, on the sidewalk.

Rock joined SNL in '90 along with Sandler and this sketch was in '92 so both are going to get bit parts for a while.

Yes, one character in the movie, portrayed by the great Martin Sheen,(Ramon Estavez) has an uncanny number of traits with someone you see from time to time whining on social media. The character was Greg Stillson, you should be able to guess who that someone is.

There's an SNL sketch of a Walken family reunion where cast members play his family and talk like him. Oddly, Christopher Walken does a pretty mediocre Christopher Walken impression.
