Meditation at that time is supposed to energize you by getting your head stable and emotions in check before you start the day. When meditation first started out they would do it first thing in the morning as part of prayer, it only became a bedtime thing cause that’s when most of us have spare time and a lot of people have issues falling asleep so they use it to clear their mind and relax to fall asleep easier. Meditation has always been a morning ritual
