I know the original score was written for bass clef BTone and our FHorn part wasn’t written high. Hey, I'm dropping in to say that I appreciate this Zero Quarter so much. Both ensembles poured their dreams, hearts, and souls into every piece played. AAMU prepped incredibly well. I'm glad to see that the group has such a passionate level of intensity for the art. The band has plenty of room to grow! Keep looking ahead and developing week over week. No one will take it easy :) After Dragonite was unleashed, that was a great call tempo-wise. However, less grounding would have been ceded if the piece highlighted more of the band's strengths. JSU. It appears my highly scientific assessment is unfolding within range of expectations. This was just crazy. We're halfway through the season. 4:36 - 6:00 clearly illustrates the group's even levels of power distribution, and nothing is sacrificed; each section demonstrates wicked consistency. This is the proof of each week's adjustments and gains -- yes, this extends to the Prancing J-Settes. Even though JSU may be the “TOP” band right now, they come across as playing sloppy at times. Last season they were CLEAN! Maybe they need to adjust to the increase in instrumentalists?
