Hmm I'm not sure if it's still street spec because I've been meaning to do an all motor build to the k24 in my 2012 si hfp, the forums didnt lie to me either, even 4piston racing said the most n/a horsepower I could get away with is about 360 at the crank, so it would differ at the wheels, which is from their "K360" built street engine they offer which is derived from the k24 block, they also offer the "K340" which is even less aggressive and more street friendly, apparently anything up there at give or take 400whp would recquire race gas undoubtedly plus could not be considered reliable or long lasting, idk just relaying what I've been told and i trust them tbh, the bore on the k360 would be an 89.5 which I could apparently get them to bring up to 90mm exactly among other small tweaks, getting it right around 370ish bhp, which I will probably end up doing, not sure if the Si is gonna be the car tho, for an expensive build like that I might use smth more meaningful like a CRX SiR or and ITR DC2, the choices are killing me 😩

Dylan White there’s Hs making about 400 whp. They’ve gotten 500 out of k series and upper 400s on stock bore and stroke J series.

@@TheBb6prelude can you show me one? Im would love to see it. Ive never anything above low 300s on N/A H series. Honestly Dizzymane's is 301 whp. Ive heard rumors of close to 320. It would be awesome if you could show me one that higher than that on YT on anywhere on the internet. This interests me greatly. If I saw 350 was possible without a custom taller block, or some crazy offset bore block build that cost like 30k to build then Id go the N/A route. I already got the obd1 H22A, if I could get 350 for 15k or less, Id forget about my turbo build I have planned. Edit: Im meaning 350+ whp H22 N/A. True all motor no spray bullshit.

Im a big turbo fan and prob the biggest crx fan ever so i love the car but this has really impressed me on the n/a route i would add a little wet shot of nitrous just in case but dam i live how dependable this would or could be after you get a good tune and have all the bugs ironed out then you could just have fun and not consrantly have to mess with it like you do any kind of forced induction

This is badass guys. I thought I accomplished something when I was able to get my shitbox to the 320whp range NA, but this is truly awesome. Whats the setup consist of? My 320whp K is a 89x99 K24a2 block, 4Piston K20 head, 13.5:1, Sk2 Ultra Race, DC Cams, Myers Hood exit, AEM EMS on E85. Also what does the CRX weigh? If its light enough I think we might see 8s on motor with a Honda!

I figured it out. Just put higher flowing fuel pumps/injectors intake and manifold with Sunoco 110 race gas and valve springs and have an extreme amount of timing. Boom

Is it common for high hp na k series to have a fixed cam angle. Not Vtc?

Mostly track cars when you dont need low end torque and another point of failure. Not too much benefit in the higher rev range having vtc.

Depends if your building for mainly the street or mainly racing, people go either way all the time, maintaining the vtec variable valve timing is usually done for n/a street builds as it keeps the idle much smoother, u know not as choppy as say a drag car which is much more comfortable to drive if your planning on using it as a daily as you're going to be on the bottom end of the rev range more often than not

How the hell do you make that much torque out of an NA motor? I thought getting 190 ft-lbs out of an H series was spectacular but this is something I have never heard of. I realize it is a K series obviously the K24 base lower end but what else a has happened to it to get that much TQ?

Marcus Taber they never said if it was stroked beyond the 99mm k24 crank..that would explain the torque..plus other things..compression ratio,cams,fuel etc..
