I love that you seem to understand Sasukes reaction at this point of the story. Killing Itachi was his goal as he thought he was destroying evil. Vengeance for his clan was a part of it but he felt morally obligated to kill Itachi because from his viewpoint, he was pure evil. A lot of people assumed he would then want the same as Itachi after finding out the truth but I think it makes more sense for Sasuke's character to still want to take down the evil which killed his clan which now, he believes, is the Hidden leaf. Without spoiling, I think what's upcoming for his character is the most intriguing bit in Shippuden

This comment makes no sense. First of all Sasuke doesn’t get humbled, the only thing he learns from this battle is that he actually does care about his teammates and his teammates care about him. Secondly, he was never even been that cocky in Shippuden, for example he has clearly said that he only beat Orochimaru because he was already weakened Thirdly, sasuke is just as rash and aggressive after this battle as he is before it

It really depends on the creativity of the person who does subs because you really need to do mental gymnastics for every single line to still rhyme but keep it's meaning in another language. From my experience, Eng dub's rhymes were ass and forced compared to the sub.
