Reminds me of Andrea Yates. Too many children overloading a mind that's not buttoned down properly (although without the post-partum depression). We choose not to understand mental illness in this country, we're wrapped up in some sort of good/evil dichotomy, and the combination of mental illness and religion can be fatal. When the family can't give kids what they need, social services needs to do a better job. All too often they're so underfunded that they can't and something bad happens -- at which point society then decides to care about the kids, when it's too late to make a difference. These kids deserved better.

But when he says "The voices start going off and then here comes the paranoia" tells me he was in complete control of himself. He was aware of experiencing "paranoia" he said so. Not that I believe him at all. If he's aware of what he's experiencing he's aware enough to know it's a false experience. The odd times they went to KFC they had to share a bucket of nuggets and a serve of chips. You can see in one photo one of the babies has one chicken nugget and a few chips thrown in front of him She had no car and no job and she had been playing around with young neighbour before they divorced so I guess that was used against her.
