What is so frightening is how he was able to live all those years knowing he did what he did. I imagine the idea that he might get caught was always there. When the investigator walked into that place of business in December of 2018 and mentioned the crime and when it happened he knew they had him. But to go 39 years with his freedom it was probably still shocking that it caught up to him and well deserved.
@crand200332 жыл бұрын
One side is lying here. Is the court saying the defense lawyer lied? He said we cannot conclude that the blood sample matched the DNA. If that is a lie, the court must jail him for perjury.
@davidbyers72462 жыл бұрын
Well how do we know? I mean for sure. There was something very smug about this documentary, was this man set up in some way? You know once I was able to read documents on historical events of the 20th century, and found out that the official narrative of these events did not match the evidence, yet the vast majority of people only hear lies presented as truth, I doubt just about everything coming from countries like the USA. Sad, but that’s what happens when you learn the truth about the events of the last century. Having said that, yes it is quite possible that the man charged was guilty.

When trials happen soon after murders, it is easy to forget that the victims likely would have had a full life ahead of them. When the trials happen 30 or 40 years later, it is impossible to ignore. Of course it is tragic that that 18 years old girls was attacked and killed. But maybe even more tragic is the many years of missing ups and downs and missing memories she and her lived ones would have shared.

I'm more surprised that it is enough to find dna at the scene 40 years back, when it could have ended up there prior to the murder by some trivial reason that nobody remembers. If we are talking about reasonable doubt. Then the defense should have an easy time with that case.

But the person(s) get arrested before the murder can happen *EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT MOVIE* I'm not a real big Tom fan but he doesn't "make the movie". The plot does and the other actor/actresses! And... *THE COGS but *AGATHA* in particular! She does an amazing job of acting in this movie! It's an older movie but watch it! Very good movie! The advancement in the Policing and the flying (kinda sorta) and the way we do our shopping... Eye recognition is our ID. Anyway.... *WATCH THE MOVIE!!! You won't be sorry you did!* It has *MANY TWISTS & TURNS* and *UNPREDICTABLE* moments in the movie. It will keep you guessing and keep you on your toes. You won't know until the very end. The movie was just that good at keeping the facts a secret until the very end when it reveals *EVERYTHING* to the audience!

When those police arrived at his work and told him why they were there, not once did he say "I didn't do it". That's the first thing you'd hear from an innocent man. His face gave him away immediately. His eyes were twitching and his hands trembling. Look at the footage. He knew that after nearly 40 years, they'd got him.
