That’s the Caitlin Snow iteration, third person to use the moniker and only one to join the Justice League out of the three. She was kinda set up that way to contrast with Louise Lincoln and Crystal Frost. This one’s the original, Crystal. She wasn’t in the suicide squad in the comics though, it was actually Louise. So yeah, having three people take on the name can be confusing.

Its stupid and contrived. The last movie the bomb was only powerful enough to blow a person's head off. Now it is like two pounds of C4, which somehow activates while frozen. Its also kryptonite based, and freeze, heat, water, gas, space, demon resistant. Waller might as well just use magical wizard powers to activate the bombs.

He's had to slow himself down because he had to vibrate his body to keep himself from dying after an alternative timeline's Batman shot him in the head. He's dying and his death will accelerate if he speeds up. There was 3 to take up the moniker of Killer Frost the first 2 Crystal Snow, and Louise Lincoln they were straight up villains even dying as villains. However the 3rd Killer Frost Crystal's younger half-sister Caitlin wasn't born with cryokinetic meta-human powers like her older half-sister she was instead a pacifistic scientist who specialized in cryogenics who wanted to use her research to create a advanced form of cryotherapy to help people however bad guys after her research would break in and during the scuffle would injure her and knock her into her cryogenic solution this would give her cryokinetic powers similar to her older half-sister but at a cost she would become a thermal vampire aka she gained a hunger for heat that would cause her to lose control and attack people and she would resort to committing robberies in order to fund her attempts at studying her powers so she could learn how to control the whole vampiric hunger for heat and not be a threat to anyone this would put her in conflict with The Flash, and the 2nd Firestorm however she would turn herself in after killing a rapist that attacked her by draining him of all of his body heat due to the adrenaline causing her to lose control of the vampiric hunger for heat and upon pleading guilty she got sent to Belle Reve where like Crystal and Louise would join Task Force X though much like Bronze Tiger, and El Diablo she didn't like being a killer and of course Amanda Waller being the scumbag bitch that she is wouldn't uphold her end of the deal aka Waller wouldn't give Caitlin the equipment needed to help her study her powers so she could control her vampiric hunger for heat. It wasn't until the Rebirth storyline Justice League vs. the Suicide Squad that Batman, Green Arrow, and Flash would finally get Caitlin her freedom aka they literally forced Waller to release Caitlin and allow her to have surgery to have the bomb removed with Ollie actually giving Caitlin access to tech at Queen Industries that would allow her to properly study her powers so she could properly learn how to control the vampiric hunger for heat she has, and her career as a anti-heroine and transition into a heroine would start as a member of Batman's new version of the JLA with her forming a younger sister-older sister type relationship with Dinah Lance-Queen aka Black Canary, and falling in love with the 2nd Atom Ryan Choi eventually she would move to Philadelphia and move into Ryan's apartment with Ryan finally popping the question to her with her saying yes and becoming his fiancée however the day before their wedding Ryan would get murdered by Deathstroke and in an insulting action that goes against Deathstroke's character would shrink the dead hero and place his corpse in a matchbox in a disrespectful pose and leave it deliberately in a place where he knew Caitlin would find it as she was out with friends shopping for a wedding cake and she did find it and thankfully despite grieving over Ryan's death Caitlin would remain a heroine and the guardian of Philadelphia while having a civilian job as a high-school science teacher. Though there would be a special mini-series titled Frost that DC did with the plot being Amanda Waller asking Caitlin who now went by the heroine moniker Frost for help as Waller still wanting a "Killer Frost" under her control decided to bring Crystal back to life via cloning and use her as a living weapon that to no one's surprise backfired as Crystal would escape Waller's control and once again go on a killing spree with Caitlin agreeing to stop her revived villainous half-sister simply so she could stop Crystal's rampage and not out of respect of Waller and we would learn that during their childhood Crystal would bully Caitlin, and beat her up every chance she got including taking her anger at their abusive parents out on Caitlin, though it would end with Caitlin being forced to put her older half-sister down again and Caitlin telling Waller that she didn't want anything to do with her ever again.
