My killer instinct I've had for five years! Works perfectly

One of the best crossbow reviews I've seen. Same here broken shoulder 2yrs ago, doc says it will never be any better, so Iam think about a crossbow.

make sure you use 500+ grain bolts i blew a limb on mine after 3 test shots due to the supplied bolts are to light

@@justlistenXD7 Thanks, appreciate the heads up. The guy who assembled it, down at Cabela's.. told me to only shoot what it came with (or equivalent). I told him what guys are saying about the lighter bolts creating damage but he was not convinced. I don't mind giving up a little speed for taking better care of my bow, so I'm gonna heed your advice.

I just picked one up last weekend. Your review is EXCELLENT. I'll be firing it for the first time this weekend 21-OCT-2021.

Thanks for posting these videos. Just moved to a state that allows hunting with crossbows and I'm new to them. You helped me decide on this one. Can't beat the price for the speed and accuracy I'm seeing here. I haven't gotten one in my hands and shot it yet but I think I'm going to be able to kill a lot of deer with it from what I'm seeing. I'm excited to get it and start practicing. Last time I shot with a regular bow l was a teenager and man has technology advanced since then on these things. This is about twice as fast as my last bow. I just can't get over how cheap it is. By the way, my father had a couple of the early Oneida Eagle bows. The first one he broke hitting the limb on a tree limb. Those things were badass for their time. They still stack up pretty good compared to the newest bows.

Hey man! I am chasing some pronghorn this season in Oklahoma’s panhandle and was thinking about getting this bow, do you think you could upload some long distance shots like at 70 yards or back? I am really needing a good reference

had to get a new bag so fast blowing threw morrel target going to try the hurricane 2 storm bag like you have just ordered it .
@mattallenptk57574 жыл бұрын
Guess what, I blew through my hurricane storm today. I have put multiple hundreds of shots through it though.
@mattallenptk57574 жыл бұрын
My advice to you is to not stick only with the center Target on the bag. I would also use the outside targets as well and shoot both sides of the bag.

Love your channel but I must say - Beware people who bought the SWAT XP crossbow as the limbs are bad and will break. Killer Instinct Crossbows does not care about the integrity of their company and will NOT pay for any repairs. The warranty is garbage. Wish I could attach photos to show y'all the email correspondence with KI and the split limb.

So far I have had my limbs break on the killer instinct once. I took it to the place I bought the boat and they handed over a brand new set of limbs. Haven't actually tried to work with killer instinct themselves on the matter

Quick question, what about un-cocking, does the bow have a un-cocking system or do you need to shoot a dummy bolt at a target after a unsuccessful day of hunting.
@mattallenptk57574 жыл бұрын
There is no de-cocker. You do have to fire the bow.

@@mattallenptk5757 Two years later now, has your limbs cracked from using light bolts? I just purchased one and bought heavier bolts, never shooting the hyperlite's as I saw many limbs were breaking while using the light bolts.

is the forearm adjustable?
@mattallenptk57574 жыл бұрын
No it isn't. I think that would make it really loud
@preacherbiggin4 жыл бұрын
Yes the forearm is adjustable! Just remove a couple screws and slide it to the desired position on the pictatany rail its attached to, reinsert screws and youre good to go.
