Now that I have had my x with crank. For seven months no problems but the butt stalk is a little bit too loose so I tighten it up.as for durability so far so good. The crank system is very good and easy. The rope cocker has a sharp edge on it. I sanded mine. As for accuracy 70 yards still in bulls eye.

The Allen head bolt that allows it to lengthen or shorten. I noticed it was noisy during elk season. It rattled and just about drove me nuts.

I did get to answer my question on how rain effects the arrow flight at 30 yards it drops 1/2 inch. The rain was a down poor

Why do you all keep saying that the Crossbow shoots 405 feet per second with a 390 grain boilt. When you know it doesn't. They never shoot as fast as they say they do

Buying used on these Killer Instinct is a loser, because the lifetime warranty only applies to the original owner.

To quote"most people that own these crossbows never have a problem with them". I'm really not being a jerk, but have you looked at Amazon reviews lately, or spent just a few minutes browsing through YT vids? You lost all credibility with that statement. Now, I own KI bolts. They are fantastic. I also own a Boss 405. It only has 2 bolts through it as I cannot crank it from my weakend state-cancer treatments. I sold it to my brother and ordered a Fury 410 de-cock. With 2 weeks from delivery I am questioning that decision because of price and looking at fatal-x. But, Im afraid I will get a junky bow and the talk of the net is the new KI owners will not reply to emails for warranty. I have no idea what to buy..

Don’t you think that at least 80 percent of swat x1’s and fatal x’s work as they should and that the bad reviews are from 20 percent or less of the owners who have problems. I mean 20 percent of all KI crossbows of these models would still be thousands of crossbows.

Great video & review Jim! I love the SWAT X 1, and the barrel system which locks the arrow firmly in place! The bolt and nock remains firmly against the string and cannot slip off. Ironically my best views video is about this crossbow which my friend Dave owns! My Wicked Ridge M-370 tool five deer last season but I’m now experiencing string fray! And now thanks to you I know why!

Lower left side. We think M-370’s are susceptible to fraying below the flight rail! Tenpoint recently sold factory refurbished ones for $399! Bass Pro $499 w/ an MSRP of $799 with Acudraw. I’ve order a new string & server!

I am sorry the price that you said it was is way to high !! I am better of going to buy Center Point Crossbow!! Less breaking on lamb and beside that I buy a Bear X Saga 425 that have a life time warranty and made in USA !! Better quality and less trouble with it !! I have heard and seen a lot of a bad thing about killer instinct !! I am not going to waste my time with it !!

You know I would never spend 600 plus dollars on a chinese-made crossbow never I would never recommend that to anybody because it's going to break it's going to fail and you just wasted 600 bucks I've seen all over KZbin with these limbs breaking on all of the Killer Instinct crossbows really to be honest with you. The only thing that I have ever had that is made like Killer Instinct was there speedring scope that's the only thing I recommend buying and that's the only things that I know that actually works and it doesn't break

I have only owned my Fuel 415 for one season. As recommended by Dragging Deer and The Ranch Fairy, I shoot heavier than stock (525 gr.) bolt/broadhead combination and have had zero issues. My experience with the company is that they stand behind their product in a big way. Out of the box the 4X32 scope was defective. It wouldn’t hold windage at all, and only held elevation for a brief period of time. I emailed Customer Service, and they sent me the upgraded speed ring scope without asking to first inspect the 4 X 32. They also didn’t send it back. While these crossbows are produced in China, the company is American and takes pride in their products. This, unfortunately, is a common occurrence these days. I ride a Harley Police Electra Glide, and these days most of the parts are made in China.

Well all I can say is good luck and that's the whole thing in itself you shouldn't have to be shooting heavy arrows 500 plus grain arrows to try to keep the crossbow together you should be able to shoot the crossbow with the arrows that comes with the crossbow and if you do shoot them it's going to blow up

@@donwilson350 When you tune your arrow broad head setup, there are benefits beyond just preventing limb fracture. Shooting a heavier, front of center skewed arrow that is properly tuned to your crossbow provides a truer flight and crushing penetration. I own an American made Wicked Ridge crossbow. I had issues with it multiple times. Comparing repeatable accuracy, the Killer Instinct crossbow is head and shoulders better.
