Sorcerer is an underrated Friedkin flick. Great suspense/adventure flick. I agree with your thoughts on finding it difficult to like a movie full of terrible characters unless there’s something engaging about the story. This one delivered, though I think it is because it’s difficult not to find so much about it pathetically amusing.

The song at the end credits is "strokin" by Clarence carter. I would like to think Joe and Dottie got married and raised a family, but that's just me.

I Love Killer Joe, Well Written & Directed, Very Funny, Solid Cast, Great Pacing, Matthew McConnaughey, Emile Hirsch, Thomas Haden Church, Gina Gershon, & Juno Temple did a Great Job, Definitely 1 Of my Favorites Of Matthew McConnaughey & William Friedkin, & 1 Of There Bests Too IMO

Have you ever seen his film Rampage with Michael Biehn? That one looks interesting but sadly the physical media release has just disappeared since it was supposed to be coming out on Blu-ray/4K I think.

I Liked William Friedkin He was Good Director, Not 1 of my Favorite Directors But I Liked Him, R.I.P. he will Never Forgotten & Will Always Remembered, I Love The Exorcist, Rules Of Engagement, The Hunted, & Killer Joe are my Favorites Of His, I Like French Connection, To Live & Die In L.
