I'm so happy that the buildings are pretty much the same structure as the film, just under new management. Most old buildings I've noticed have either been renovated big time or just torn down if no new business took them over.

The Lost Boys was also filmed mostly in Santa Cruz, but they changed the name to Santa Carla in the movie.

Great seeing these locations ! I fell in love with this crazy, inventive and unique movie back in 87' and watch it often. But upon a quick google I found you to be right and they mean the same thing.
