I’ve spent a lot of time on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz, and I’ve walked through the 100 block of Cooper street dozens of times. I can’t believe all this time I was walking through an area they filmed this movie lol. I love it. Thanks for this!

I was born in 1988, I will say I had kick ass grandparents who would let me watch all kinds of horror movies at a young age, I remember seeing KK and I fell in love at a young age z this is one movie I watch over and over and over again, so awesome you are showing off the locations of this movie.

Awesome to see this movie covered. Between Watsonville and Santa Cruz there is a small town called Soquel. That's also the site of some scenes including the infamous beheading in an alley roughly behind where the post office is.

They were in Watsonville, CA where it was filmed this weekend celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the film. Event was put on by Nerdville in Watsonville. The Chiodo brothers mentioned loving to do a sequel, but they're just not sure I guess that any Hollywood studios would be interested.
