Many thanks for this tutorial! I would like to ask two things: 1. what is the purpose of the red background? (page 3,4) 2. why did the # not become page numbers? Have I done something wrong? The stylus and the color pipette gave me the biggest problems during the tutorial. To all beginners: Especially as a beginner you will have problems in some places. Don't be afraid to give it a try tough. It will really be worth it

Hi @tom_unseen, Hope you enjoyed the tutorial. The red background on pages 3, 4 represents the internal cover page. Essentially the page that joins the front cover to the bound manuscript in a hard cover book. There's lots of different ways to design a book but for the video I included the front cover in the same document as my manuscript/ chapter pages. Admittedly not all that common a workflow but worked well for the video. As for the # can I ask if you inserted the # as a page number as a field? With your text frame selected go to the top menu, under the 'Text' menu, scroll down to Insert> Fields and choose Page Number, It should populate automatically. Alternatively you can right click in your text frame (with the text frame tool selected), scroll down to Insert Field and choose insert Page Number. You can insert a Page Number Field in any text frame but I always recommend creating them on a master page. Tends makes things a little easier as you can just apply the master to the pages in your document. Hope this helps, thanks for watching the video.

Hello, I have tried to make an ebook in electronic format for Kindle and it has not been possible for me to do so. Indesign can export to html and epub format, and then be able to improve it with Caliber, put a cover, change code easily. When will we be able to enjoy these improvements? Thank you

We have been asked to support the right-to-left language since V1 and not any kind of support provided, You just provided a third-party 30$ app as an idea, and after buying it it was full of issues. After buying V1 & V2 i really think to switch back to Adobe.
