It’s interesting after reading a recent biography about Malcolm,X ( the dead, are arising) the aftermath of Malcolm’s family and one may even look at Dr. King’s family after his assassination. Killer Mike started, was talking about his family, which is everybody’s duty as they are trying to protect the things closest to them, as well as other parts of their identity. At first, I was disappointed in Killer Mike for thinking about things more holistically or more nuance as a person who has individually experience a lot has seen a lot represents a lot. The number one thing he has control over his family in jeopardizing his life would mean that somebody else would have to step to take care of his wife and kids and none of us are willing to do that so we shouldn’t rely on one individual and be so upset with them if they don’t align with every single thing that we may hope.
