This is scary as well as heartbreaking. And it reminds of the sentiment I’ve read in the past: “Love is a sacrifice, as it means putting someone else’s needs and well-being above your own, defying the natural instinct for self-preservation.” Her grand parents took her in, and tried to provide her with a sense of normalcy and stability, they loved and cared for her, and it cost them their life.

She made sure to show us who's boss. But even with my grandpa he was very sweet and nice. The only thought I had towards them is to help them and love them. Single mom, creep stepdad, controlling grandparents, pretty enough to be popular for the wrong crowds, boyfriend with too much attitude always trying to prove himself in the worst ways.

she's so calm & nonchalant when she describes the murders.. and her eyes are so dark.. she's beyond saving, but i would still put her in a psychiatric prison. something isn't right in her head, and i doubt she knows it.

Cassie's home life was so bad that the cops showed up 30 times in one winter... its troubling how deep-rooted that domestic trauma was. Its a shame that she manifested it into this "bonnie and clyde" scheme, only to recover from the su***de attempt in the end.

There is something severely wrong with this girl. Her movements and mannerisms are very odd. Reminds me of those people stuck in a catatonic state. The interview with the guy from the 1960s.

The issues with those two started many years before this doc. Both of those kids probably had a lot of unhealthy experiences growing up… but it never excuses cold-blooded murderer.
