Clay is the drummer for the band Polyphia! If you're into that sort of trap metal, theyre all very talented. clay is such a good drummer, got killer chops and killer discipline

@Tower Tito polyphia is not trap metal 😂, trap metal is some scarlxrd and ghostemane type shit
@CptShiba Жыл бұрын
@@YardsaleAbsurdity no its not. Math Rock is defined by all sorts of crazy time signatures, key switches, crazy tuning, etc. Polyphia play pretty much exclusively in 4/4 time and standard or drop d tuning. If you HAVE to give them a genre, Prog Rock is the best description.

I'm 26 years old, I don't know how this happened but I've always loved music and beats, like really enjoyed instrumentals aswell, but it was until I heard of Polyphia a few years back, hearing some of their instrumentals I started to actually notice different tones and small little patterns in the beats I never noticed before, like the little fills and patterns in the drums, the bass tones, and like filling noise in the background that just bring it all together and now when I listen to other music I like in other genres, I notice the small details so much more! It is literally so mind blowing to me!

I would love to see you check out Matt Halpern. He's the drummer of the band Periphery. It's a metal band, but his style of drumming is amazing to watch whichever way you wanna look at it.

The way Clay often gets in with guitar is very Bonham. (while generally reminding me most of Zach Hill)

It's also important to note that Meinl expects their artists to get it in 1 take only.
