In my opinion, in time, welcome to hard times is going to go down as one of the greatest country albums ever made. We can barely get it out of our car when my family is driving to this or that destination. And my entire family has pretty much memorized the entire album lyrically which is extraordinary considering that almost any album gets old after a week or two in the car stereo. Not that one. This dude is special. May God keep that ticker of his beating for many, many years.

Saw Charley at Red Rocks 7/22/21, him and his band opened up for Orville Peck (Lola was there as well). They killed it! No offense or disrespect to Orville and Lola, but Charley Crockett should have headlined that show, they were INCREDIBLE! First time I'd ever seen or heard of CC and they shocked a guy that is kinda a metalhead, but a full-time music lover. Band was as tight as it gets and the orginality of Mr. Crockett was and is a must see. Continued success CC and band.

The finest singer/songwriter in hilly billy music today. Which, despite how much garbage is coming out of Nashville in a font, is truly saying something because outside of the mainstream there is a great quantity of country artists with talent to spare and beautiful tunes to bask in.

Really enjoying Charley's music. It sounds cliché but he really does have a unique style. I really like the idea of HAAM. How many artists have suffered or given up touring entirely because it was just too hard on their health. We all know how expensive health care in America is and any help could save somebodies life.

Hard Times you see it coming? That train? “You don’t need no baggage you just get on board” “Well I spend my time at the bottom of a wishing well And I can hear my dreams singing clear as a bell I used to know where they ended and the world began But now it's getting hard to tell I could be just around the corner from Heaven or a mile from Hell I'm just rolling away from yesterday Behind a wheel of a stolen Chevrolet I'm going to get a little higher And see if I can hot-wire reality Now can you see those dark clouds gathering up ahead? They're going to wash this planet clean like the Bible said Now you can hold on steady and try to be ready But everybody's gonna get wet Don't think it won't happen just because it hasn't happened yet”

I love welcome to hard times, even though I preordered it and the disk arrived broken. Got ot replaced and love it, I think 10 for slim is the best diehard country effort so far though. But from big blue bonanza to honkey tonk jubilee they're all great. The first 3 that aren't so country don't do a lot for me but all the country albums are as real as it gets, theres always a Crockett album in the 3 disk tray of my stereo in the shop.
