Speaking truth to power. Let me guess, white guilt projected at some stated hierarchy that only lives in their heads for the purpose of propping up their victim-hood, or more pathetically their cheap words of defense for those they presume defenseless. That is racism. Yeah, no thanks.

@ryandavids1129 I just love seeing this sentiment from all the haters. His music invokes much respect from people all over the world, and that's not up for debate. What's wrong with an artist trying different things throughout their career, including different genres and sounds? I don't understand how that somehow invalidates Charley Crockett. MUCH RESPECT CHARLEY!
@DanScavino-h7p
@DanScavino-h7p Ай бұрын
Apparently, you dont understand how artists discover their sound and develop their craft. Crockett went to NYC to be heard by millions and develop his craft. Also, it's noted that his time performing on the subway was where he found himself. If it weren't for that chapter, we wouldn't have the artist we love so much today. Long live Charley Crockett. @ryandavids1129

Charley, his guitar, and hundreds of rain soaked die hard fans in one room together. Oh and Ray Wylie Hubbard sang there too.

Folk music like Charley’s is making a huge comeback. There are at least a dozen artists doing an amazing job at bringing back real country.
