Killing Floor 2, but LIGHTNING: Hextuple Storm Cannons | nbd_v0a 64mm | Area 52 | Sharpshooter

This was a nonsense activity that we had to go to a practice server to execute. Storm cannon is banned in CD for EXTREMELY good reasons, and all of them are on display here. We botched some rage management on a few waves because we never use these, but once we got it together, we completely rolled over some heavy settings (NBD is significantly harder than mig3). This gun absolutely deserves its ban.
This sort of content isn't a regular feature for me, but as a sometimes activity, it's a hilarious change of pace.

36 freezes plus arc,what fun! Scrakes are cake but I always had trouble shooting over gauntlet with slower projectile weapons like this or crossbow. Love when psychic asks if nbd is hard cycle

It was a wild run, for sure! Everything just got annihilated for the low price of knowing how to headshot. It's so silly. I put a lot of work into xbow at one point because I think it's really neat, so I'm used to hitting over gauntlets with projectiles, even while constantly changing my crouch state. That was so funny 😀 Poor man has no real baseline and watched us delete mig3 in a precision run and then delete this with nonsense guns.

Is there room on CD for the railgun or m99 or do they fall short in this mode? In my head m14 and centerfire need more bullets to kill (obviously) so the lvl25 skill actually shines. More zed time is more dps for gunslingers.

@@aidanfgc8312 Railgun and M99 are utterly overpowered in the hands of people who can shoot well and have access to spares. They have no place in any CD match meant to be challenging or interesting.

I see. I don't play pc so CD is a foreign concept to me, as you can see my speculations were blatantly ignorant. In another note, is that why the FAL is only seen in the commando and not sharpshooter? I would imagine the high dps would certainly make CD easier.

@aidanfgc8312 All good! My summary came off as a little aggressive there, and I apologize. The thing about FAL is that raw DPS isn't a perfect measure. It's always trying to make you fail with its random recoil, the recoil especially inhibits it at range, and its long reload gets punished if you're not perfect. M14 is very nearly as fast and much more flexible, in addition to being able to engage effectively at ranges the FAL only dreams of.

What weapons are banned from CD? I only thought the FAL was because that thing is disgusting on sharp.

I'll have to get back to you in a bit on the whole list, and it varies by region, but FAL isn't a particularly powerful weapon, especially not as compared to the m14, and particularly not when every bullet and stray rage matters.
