I can agree, there was a weekly that forced you to play survivalist and do gun game(In a nutshell) and this weapon came up. It wasn't too bad at AOE, but was painful when dealing with single targets and with the explosive damage that you could deal to yourself when you were too close. Thankfully gun game doesn't make you use a gun for too often.

Yea I’m not getting it either. Used both the Crossbow and Seal squeal. I like the crossbow as a little zed popper for crawlers and stuff. If it’s a scrake or fleshpound yes I’m gonna use something more impactful 😂

You’re trying to kill a scrake which has resistance to explosives but is very susceptible to regular bullets, but with the crossbow? Only the regular one is worth anything to damage scrakes, otherwise you’re better off trying to catch a fish barehanded

You should use it on trash clear as the AoE is great on this gun as Demo I had more than 400kills in 6 HoE with this and Kaboom stick as backup gun when I ran out of arrows or wanna kill big bois

Another note: Scrake can be killed by explosion easily, with boomstick is way op aswell on pointblank, that gun is Good and for some reason you can't deal a explosion damage by that gun, if it is a fleshpound with that gun, is a 4-shot kill in normal in point blank.

@@unknownjay1 on direct hit it might be good, but radius explosion of a RPG still not that affectable against a scrake. On Solo, Is easy to kill Scrakes with a Demolist's gun. However, on multiplayer is hard to kill scrake with explosion, when many players is on match, zeds will have many health or durability with all types of projectiles.

@@OkehM25 depending and your skill. If u use high impact round and armor piercing round u can hit the neck or head and still get a one shot with 6 player hoe direct impact kills the scrake.

Pretty sure it's meant to be the quick and easy Trash Killer for Demo Since Demo didn't really have access to an ammo efficient trash killing weapon until now, Kaboomstick was the best you could do but you'd run the risk of being out of ammo when a fleshpound is on your face I'd use this Crossboom's alt fire to get rid of 10 to 15 clots, stalkers and crawlers in one or two shots, and immediately swapping to the Kaboomstick, the Seal Squeal or The Seeker Six for all the Medium and Large Zeds Besides if you REALLY need a way of killing Scrakes quickly, the RPG is one of the few weapons capable of one tapping them from a headshot(at close range)

i use that weapon one time, then never, m79 it's just better cleaner (in safe range), for close range u got the shotgun with explosive shells and the m16 with the granade launcher and for long range u got the rpg and the six. The HRG crossbow for me 3/10.

Alright... i'm here to say something that i can be against of- Demolist's gun is a unique class that does radius attacks or bullet-explosives damages, the explosion itself is powerful in any zeds, especially the fleshpound, other hand is the scrake, scrake's "weak" point is bullet and scrake is resilent to a explosion, while fleshpound's weak point is explosion and resilent to a bullet.... Keep that in mind that every class is useful on whetever type of situation it is, their training ability and the class guns will always has con and pros. Resume is: This YT Short is basically a Crossbow explosive against to a scrake, even his resistant to a explosion and the crossbow has only one resource shot-explosive arrow type ammo.
