HZ12 A tier. It's not good enough for S tier but it is much better than the other weapons in B and is in general very reliable, especially for its cost. Medic Shotgun straight up S tier. Extremely fast fire rate, good ammo economy, fast full magazine reload, decent mag capacity, and it can heal your teammates. It is not ideal for killing fleshpounds or bosses but that's not nearly as relevant on support due to your high weight limit allowing you to use literally any other weapon the perk has alongside it. It may serve more as a sidearm, but it's about as god tier a sidearm a perk can have.

Imo support is best perk for newbies, cus it feel strong on low lvls, easy to aim, good to have on a team

The perks have been designed with that in mind. Commando, support, survivalist, firebug are easy mode Swat, demo, medic, are intermediate Gunslinger, sharpshooter, berserker are expert. There are obviously different play styles but if we are expecting a level 25 berserker to find an easy life on hell on earth 6 player with 1 medic then youd be mistaken lol

I consider the M4 Combat and AA12 to be "sister" shotguns. Meaning they're the same tier, but behave differently. I prefer the M4 since i can keep my gun always loaded by reloading per shot or per volley, instead of waiting the entire reload animation for the aa12. Bad reload scenarios are one of my biggest dreads. The medic shotty like a low A tier or high B tier gun, its bested by other guns, but its still VERY effective on large zeds, can clear trash, AND it can heal teammates. I have to be a bit conservative with ammo and aim down sights though. The starter shotty is decent and like all starters, gets better the more you level up and choose the right perks. In terms of all shotguns, I guess it is D tier, but as a KF weapon overall its actually ok, like C tier at least. It's better than the FAMAS shotty if you ask me. Because i like the SG500, I LOVE the Dragonsbreath on Firebug. I don't use it much on support, but it is still a good chaos causing weapon and I think the Tight Choke perk makes it more manageable for headshots. Support doesn't have any real bad weapons, except the starter isn't great for large zeds like everything else.

I'm a bit odd on this one. I use support a lot and my fav gun is the dual buckshot. I'm not sure why they always seem so lowly ranked. Maybe its just how you use them, but I am a bit weird on my gun choices on every class. I play to my own style and just focus on the fun. As for the rest of the list, I agree.

I often use the dual buckshot too, usually with the M4 Shotgun, AA-12 Auto Shotgun, or Doomstick. With tight choke its a pretty solid trash clearing weapon and a good back-up for your primary boss/big zed killing weapon. One problem with the support class is when you're stuck reloading your shotgun while being swarmed and I feel the Buckshot doesn't have as much of a problem in that regard.

I really want the Kaboomstick to be a crossperk weapon between Support and Demolitionist but anyway... I haven't tried the Blunderbuss yet and the Blast Brawlers. I like the HZ12, for me it looks like a gun from DOOM. My personal favorite is the M4.

Dragonsbreath is already a crossperk between Firebug and Support. It just doesn't make sense to me why they don't do the same for the Kaboomstick.

Thanks for this nice guide. ^^ When i try Frost Fang first time with Berserker i dont know why, i not like it. Now start playing with me support and Frost Fang is a GOD for me. xD I dont have any DLC but i really need that so i go and get it. :D Before you take any where i know its go to S or A but A is really sure. FAMAS Masterkey - I dont have any DLC and never try this guns. HZ12 Multi - Action - Not use that too many times. HMTech-301 Shotgun - I used 1 - 2 times but can't say anything from that. Dragonsbreath - I used 1 - 2 times but no any special what can i say. Buckshot - I like it and not too bad, but its really not the best. For close its really strong but there is other support guns what is more precise. Me tipp is go to A or B. Blast Brawlers - Its a little bit slow and only 2x4 shot but i think its not bad and strong for close. Maybe i wrong but i use it on 1 - 2 match at the last 3 - 4 round for try kill big guys with that. Scrake, Flashpound and i think can help for this work. :D I think you put to A or B. AA - 12 Auto Shotgun - One is me favorite. :D I really like it, If I remember correctly on Killing Floor 1 the best support weapon is the AA - 12. Not so strong, but its really fast so can do nice damage with that. Use it many times, good at killing big guys. I am sure you put it to S or A. :D I happy for I was right. :D Double - barreled Boomstick - Same like AA - 12. I think this is the other gun what is the best in Killing Floor 1 to Support. Really like it too, :D I use it sometimes but I used more in KF 1. Me tipp is to go to S or A. :D M4 Combat Shotgun - I did not use too many times but this gun was on my list to try. I think you place to B or C. This time i wrong. :D SG 500 Pump-Action - I know this is the start weapon of Support but this gun is really bad, never like it. :/ I really dont know why but i not like it. Never mind you have the tactical reload skill or not on this weapon looks like really slow the reload or just the animation, not very accurate, firerate is slow too. :/ Other perks start weapon is fine, but support start wepoan is below average. :/ No question to go to D cell. VLAD-1000 Nailgun - I not sure but now ( 2023 ) i not remember Support have Nailgun. Swat got the Nailgun or he have it but i not rememeber for support have it. Maybe i not play at that period or just not watch it. Doomstick - Doomstick is not so bad weapon but I looked more of it. Maybe i use bad or i dont know. Sometimes i use singleshot, sometimes i use all of 4 ammo with one shot but i not feel that gun is soo strong... :/ I think you put to A or B. When somebody question me me answer is to drop to B. Sorry for trash english, :S and long comment but wanted to share my opinion. :)

Not a fan of the doomstick, I don't know why, so I'd put it in A, but other than that I would agree, I play a lot of support so for me, this was the most interesting tier list you have done.

I'm so glad the doomstick got into the higher ranks, especially S tier! It's my favorite shotgun, and pretty much my favorite gun in the game. It looks freaking awesome, it destroys almost every enemy, and it's a 4 barrel freaking shotgun!

It's so satisfying launching scrakes with it. I remember launching Abomination out of map in slow motion once. He was allready flying a little when he died, then I blasted him with all 4 barrels.😹

1. "Brawler" is for Melee Survivalist weapon. 2. "Nail Gun" is good to destroy pale shield some bosses have (Hans, KingFP, Matriarc). (Note: the pale shield has no dmg modifier, so High rate of fire gun, SWAT sub machine gun type weps are effective).

I like playing with frostfang and M4. Frostfang offers awesome protection against running Fleshpoods. I like freezing things and finishing off them with m4. What do you think pathfoonder? Any other combo with frostfang?

I'm support main and I actually love the list u did, if the blunderbuss was a bit lighter it would instantly become an S tier for supp, if there's no demo that weapon can still deal HUGE ammount of damage, but still its not a great weapon for solo (at least according to me).

Tips : Dear , All support guy. Please don't hug the trader pod. or your teammate can't get resupply with "USE" key (but open the trade window). trader pod has far more big effective radius than support's ReSupply function.

I would put the Doomstick in A. Its awesome to use and very effective, but i think the AA-12 does the job equally and easier. The FAMAS is decent/good on Commando, but in Support the shotgun is awful. C/D i think, any other gun is better.

As much as i love AA-12 but doomstick literally sends scrakes and fleshpounds to moon without raging them, while AA does a good job on big zeds too, i use it more on trash/medium zeds. Doomstick and boomstick are the combo i always end up with but AA-12/nail gun/boomstick works fine too.

Upgraded Doomstick can oneshot a Scrake/QP and can takedown a FP with one alt fire + 2~4 m4 shots to the head on 6p HoE, no other Support weapon can go on par with that power.

HMT-301 dmg is underrated :) especially when you get the perk and have a 15round clip, it kills big zeds for cheap/low kg. Agreed, SG-500 is the worst gun in the game lol

Blast Brawlers are way better on a survivalist with Melee Expert though, it's basically a budget Frost Fang, if you don't have the DLC

Personally i would put the medic shotty into A simply cuz healing is just really nice to have on ur gun, i would put the famas into C since its SOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW and akward, and trenchgun in C aswell atleast for support~
