This is a great song, their early stuff is definitely worth checking out

Again, good song, decent album, but I really hope you'll go back further in their catalog. Like maybe to their first album, or even 'Fire Dances'. That's where you'll find their real gems. edit: Or like a.k.1740 said, some of their early, non-album singles. "Pssyche" especially.

Europe is the real banger on this album for me. I love Big Paul's drums on this!

Their first album is so good. "Requiem" and "Wardance" are my favorites. Got to see them in London back in 1982.

I didn't see them until 2013 at The Empty Bottle in Chicago. But it was the original four, so that was pretty cool. But 1991 would have been phenomenal!

This is a good song and Its a little underrated, but Eighties is a banger and Is always a great song from the band. You gotta listen to their earlier albums after Night time.

Their earlier albums are really better and more original! This sounds like lukewarm new wave from the mid-80s.

@@bernhardfbuttner5694 Certainly not bad, but so much inferior to what they did previously and what they will do on Extremities, Dirt and Various Repressed Emotions! The album Night Time, as well as Brighter Than a Thousand Suns and Outside the Gate, are fairly unremarkable and very much in the zeitgeist of these mediocre mid-80s.

Justin, for your next reaction to Killing Joke, you should try some of their earlier non-album singles like "Nervous System", "Are You Receiving", "Pssyche" and "Change" or their 1980 debut album Killing Joke, which I think are much more more distinctive and interesting.

Justin, I HIGHLY encourage you to please check out their first 4 albums leading up to this one!!🙏🏼 Incredibly raw, filthy and aggressive industrial rock/post-punk

I have a new neutral Swiss Criteria to evaluate a song! If I can sing "Whodunnit" over the riff for 4 minutes plus then it's a winner. This? Scary Lyrics.
