Geordie had a great presence and tremendous range. His guitar was aggressive, abrasive, eerie, but also ethereal and magic. R.i.P. Geordie. Prague never forgets.

There was a very famous music magazine in Brazil back then, called BIZZ. That year all music critics in the magazine chose LLB as best music of the year, it was incredible, such unanimity.

Probably my favourite period Killing Joke. Definitely the period where they got mainstream and this was 1985!

The interviewer Bart Peeters, was one moment drummer for The Bollock Brothers, then he had a band around him, The Radios, who had several hits. Nowadays he plays music with a band under his real name Bart Peeters and he sings folksongs with Dutch lyrics. And he is very popular also now. Killing Joke their "Nighttime" album is a highlight in the 80s music!

And if I'm correct, geordie played guitar on a bollock brothers single along with youth and gary glitter too !!

Love Like Blood as a song had to deal with somewhat (understandably) misconception of it being a slightly commercial hit track. And yes, musically it is. But the lyrics are pure dark poetry. It catches the feeling of mid eighties so very well. Of people actually not knowing what lyrics they are dancing to......

Thanks for the upload! Music in the video's Love like Blood, not A New day. Still a nice video to watch though.

The irony that u prioritise TV and radio to avoid the ignoble UK music paper press and then get this Interview 😂

Geordie was so young. What a shame they used lip sync to play Love Like Blood.
