Killing Sarevok Anchev with goofy spells - Baldur's Gate 3

I made a very difficult boss in act 3 of Baldur's Gate get stuck in my spells and he died by passing turns

I used the dance spell on him then curb stomp him. That thing is honestly broken.

@@andron7108 His story doesn't connect at all with the ending of Baldur's Gate 2, which clearly states that he went to kara-tur to bury his true love, Tamoko, and never returned home. (In Baldur's Gate I, Tamoko was killed to prevent our protagonist .) And since he lost his Bhaal blood and powers through death, there's no reason why he should survive another hundred years, considering he's a human and not one of the other long-lived races. What's more, Sarevok never actually worshipped Bhaal, and Sarevok's main purpose during the Baldur's Gate 1 was to replace Bhaal, not serve him. What's wrong? Larian's Sarevok is all wrong.

I saw an interesting comment on this, maybe the sarevok in bg3 is just a spark left from bhaal's blood when he died in bg1, it's the part of him that was owned by the god, in that case it's more coherent and believable

Sarevok has a meaty 22 armor class, but saving throws on the other hand...

Killed him in 3 turns, just put all your powderbombs in one sack, throw it, blow it up, and the fight will end pretty fast :D

Thats a lot of spells hahha, nice In my case, I drank a potion of haste with a fighter archer jaheira and did 9 attacks on him, she almost soloed the fight

If you used Hold Person, it would have been even cheesier. Maybe Laezel would have actually been useful as with a crossbow

Can't hold him because he has legendary resistance to crowd control

Got him with 40% on first round on high difficulty. Had two caster with the spell. And one with Hold Monster as well. This guy literally spammed him with some lower quality rubbish at 43%@@panwu6602
