I get Ganondorf vibes, they are both demonic warlords who love violence, war and bloodshed and ride demonic steeds. Although they have some differences like Ganondorf not having any noble motives, only selfish egotistical motives that only benefits him, violent psychopaths and the demons. Ganondorf’s desires and treatment of his followers and his demon tribe has more in common with Baltro's desires but he also desires to use his dark magic to make the world reflect the evil he embodies and is a manifestation of.

I'm also pleasantly surprised how the game rewards you for doing classical fantasy stuff and punishes you for doing deconstructionist fantasy stuff. I can really only say that due to the infinite resource loops and farms you've found.

Hmmmm, this sounds almost exactly like how you get the bad ending in Odin Sphere if you do the final sequence not in order, with the order being revealed through story/gameplay. Having seen both endings, it makes me wonder if the lore necessary to get the standard ending is found in story (Gut says yes)

@@GloriousGEOYep not the "you get your ass kicked" more the "if you played the story PROPER, you would have KNOWN everything you needed to know to AVOID the ending you just witness!" A manga called "Over Cautious Hero" has it in the BACKGROUND of the Title Hero's backstory for WHY he's overly Cautious to begin with (In a previous world he was summoned, he sequence broke so hard to defeat the demon lord, he FAILED to learn the CRITICAL ADVICE ABOUT THE DEMON LORD HAVING A SECOND LIFE! So when he assumed he won, he let his guard down and well, shit went BAD for him and all involved! He was defeated, got to watch his wife, the princess who was PREGNANT with their child be killed in a GRUESOME fashion, and well it was not pleasant! Even if his memories were sealed, he still left a message to himself to be SUPER cautious about things, hence why he acts as he does! The Female MC who is the Goddess in charge of him is the reincarnation of his dead wife, so it's strange FATE by her mentor the two were reunited and at the end of the fist half, BOTH are sent back to their old world with NERFS to save it......with said demon lord OVERPOWERED AS HELL NOW do to it. Hell later their send to an alternative world and have to face the dragon kids who helped them in the first world/season who met a bad end do to MC not being there to PREVENT IT in this alternative timeline!) Simply put, The Writers/Fate say it! "DO NOT FUCKING SEQUENCE BREAK MY STORY ASSHOLES !" LOL (even though I could say "you LET ME DO IT, HOW IS THIS MY FAULT!" Even though to THAT I say, "Yeah the door to the room I told you NOT to go into was left unlocked, but YOU chose to go in there after being told not to!")
