I think there are probably elements common to all of my favorite metalcore bands in this song! I wrote many of these riffs back in 2011, so it is influenced by all the stuff I was listening to at the time. The verse riff at 0:56 was actually written by Finn. The original verse riff I had there definitely had an early BFMV vibe to it.
