Not buying ingredients will mean you only need to save up for key progression items and maybe seeds And yeah, once he gets his economy sorted there's a lot of money to be made from selling bulk potions to merchants

So if the seeds for new herbs to plant are so expensive, could it be that they can be sold relatively well? Perhaps it could be worthwhile in the long run. (I don’t own the game myself, but it seems like a game I would really enjoy. 😅)

I may have missed a couple seconds when you were experimenting with the wild growth potions on your garden. Could you use them multiple times in the same plant? You could use them to get hundreds of resources to sell to the herbs and shrooms merchants, and perhaps get bit farther on the money game

You can get a maximum of two harvests per day per plant. You can use multiple potions on the same plant per day, but only get those two harvests. :)
