Cool video I did get The wiring Switched out to the 6 gauge Another thing I ran into We have our batt Mounted in the trunk was having a Voltage drop issue We did go ahead and install the 6 gauge Last night I checked it real quick The Batt in handheld Went to 12.7 So I'm tossing this Out there To others Who may have Battery mounted In the Trunk you will need to run a heaver Gauge wire It will need to be multi strand , I picked Mune u at Home Depot ---I will Post more This week as Get this dialed in And Video will be coming as well Peace out Dad'd Ole Garage Dave

Dave, man I am glad to see your getting things handled. Yeah the wiring is super important. Should I plan on doing a video explaining wire gauge and voltage drop and how it effects the system resistance

I have been researching aces fuel injection systems. Do they have extra inputs and outputs that are programmable? I have read something about a can module but can't find anything else about it. Thanks for the great content

Have you noticed Amperage issues with your Stock Alternator? (i have a 3Wire 63Amp with external Voltage regulator ) ? i found my killshout needs Min 12.5-13V to work. My Alt cant keep up it seems with the TBI EFI; El FP; El Fan. Does that make sense?

I have not had amperage issues yet but I have had a couple customers with low voltage issue. If the voltage gets to low it will still run but not allow closed loop because the o2 heater circuit does not get hot enough to show the correct adc value to enable it.

@Action Vulture I am upgrading my Alt. To a 140 amp gm style 1wire + I will delete the voltage regulator. I see big drop in voltage when I crank. Even if it starts I don't charge the efficient it seems. The Killshot reads 11.7-12.2 ; and dropping this effects the Fans, HEI, and the Fuelpump. I also sent you guys a email with a vid link when it's surging

@@sebastianhermeth2829 As I Mentioned in above reply I do have 140 or 150 Alt 1 wire It is a Vintage Air front runner system-My Batt is in the trunk I wanted to clean up under the hood - I went with 6 gauge multi spiral NOT SOILD 6 gauge I happen to be at our Home depot Getting some house wire Noticed they had it After I put the 6 gauge the Hand held went say 11.0 44.4 to 12.7- the other wire I had used was slightly heaver than ECU it would not go closed loop - And as Action Vulture mentioned If you say happen to run a wire same gauge as ECU or slightly heavier That far to your Batt You are gonna lose voltage Drop and as he said Your closed loop will not enable it will stay in open loop Learn from my Mistake Dad's Ole Garage Dave
