For anyone who asks about the Palm scenes, I got copyright striked 2 times because of them so I had to trim them from the video. And yes, elevator girl can oneshot Meruem in her sleep. For those that ask about being an ''elevator girl'' as a job: it's a very rare concept, although it exists in the real world. Heaven's arena is the fourth tallest building in the HxH world, with 251 floors. The building's management uses elevator girls to guide customers through this vertical maze, but also to chat with them and fighters alike. They're basically there for the promotion of events, prizes and deals as a main goal and it makes sense; you're in an elevator for no less than one minute, you're kind of trapped in it with a promoter and since you can't walk away like in an open space, you're almost forced to listen to what they have to say, since it would be kind of rude to ignore these girls (and yes most of the time girls are used in these elevators). The first and second time we saw elevator girl, she was doing just that, promoting the higher floors and the prizes that come with them, but since Gon and Killua were uninterested and didn't even listen to her, she ignored them the third time as you can see in the video. It's a tiring job, to have to stand for hours at a time in the same place and promote the same thing over and over, and there can also be the risk of sexual harassment as one of the elevator girls can be trapped herself with a perv trying to cop a feel, but I personally don't fear for our elevator girl, she'd cut a bitch and she's here to hustle. Honestly I don't give a fuck, I could keep talking about this job concept all day.

Her terrifying nen attack ''Elevator Girl's Atomic Bomb Attack'', which inspires fear even in the dark continent, was inspiration for Miniature Rose, the nuclear bomb that caused the death of Meruem. If anything, that goes to show how much of a quintessential shonen HXH is in its subtilities and also the genius of Togashi. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand HXH. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Hisoka's schwingistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from schwingful yoga poses, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike HXH truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Kurapica's existential catchphrase "Fuck them spiders" which itself is a cryptic reference to the possibility of large spiders ending mankind as we know it by means of higher oxygen levels in the near future. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Togashi's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

I found that scene to be really ooc tbh. One of the reasons why people love killua so much is that despite his upbringing he isn't edgy, unlike most of shounen deuteragonists. Killua in that scene (and most of the 1999 filler) doesn't act like his canon manga self at all.
