I'm not a Rangers fan (Liverpool fan), but I think he has done a very good job on the whole. Celtic were miles ahead economically, mentality/experience wise etc when he joined and it looks like they are still ahead. That should not be a surprise to anyone. Gerrard has had to recruit players for a relatively low amount, either players past their best, or not going to make it at a premier league club. His record in Europe is very impressive. Surely most non-Celtic fans would like to see a bit of genuine competition in the SPL?
