I do have a question about the lettering you put on the mugs--some of the letters seem to be faded on one side. For example: At first glance, I thought Mug #4 said "Optimistic Fills Bitter." 😄 Do you apply a separate black (or white) glaze to the lettering? if so, is it the last step, or does another glaze go over it? Of course, it might look different in person than it does on-camera. Mug #5's letters were all clear and crisp in the video. In any case, that might be something you can just touch up afterward with a paintbrush. The mugs are amazingly pretty, and I love the color combinations you use. The oil-burner design is really interesting, and I'm impressed with the patterning to the covered dish. And repurposing a mug into a chicken was great!

@briancurtis6022 😂 oh yes the lettering, I'm struggling with it😅. I think on some mugs, the letter stamping was not deep enough so the white underglaze was not thick enough. I'll touch them up and also my last 3 rutile blue mugs and dog water bowl, which have the lettering stamped in, I try to apply some white underglaze. Then I'll fire them with my next bisque, since the underglaze should only need to be fired to cone 05/04 and hope it doesn't change the rutile color ( blue rutile glaze is very sensitive to refire). I'll make a "short clip" how I do that . At first I thought I'll touch up on some glazes on those mugs, but I do love the organic look, they will be in my future online shop, in the ceremonial cocoa collection or matcha mug collection displayed.(still all in progress) About the chicken - I love to just play around sometimes .... clay is such a fun medium.... 🤗

Very nice results! It looks like you've gotten your firing & cooling schedules really refined for a better finish and fewer dripping issues. The patterns are wonderful too. For the hanging ornaments(?), I'd worry about them fusing to the hanging rods. Do you ever re-glaze just for color correction, or is it not worth the trouble and risk of damage?

@briancurtis6022 3 of the ornaments did fuse to the rods 🫣 but I'm sure I'll get them off somehow 👀. I reglazed a few times, I think it was worth it - saved a few pieces and some turned out stunning. I'll have a few pieces which I will be refire saved on my shelf - I might make a video about it 🤔😁 Thank you for your nice words, I think camill's Hoffmann firing schedule is awesome, no pinholes and no pinging. I've written the schedule in my description🤗

@@sageymoodceramics I'm impressed with how carefully and thoroughly you're documenting everything! I know a lot of potters have trouble recalling how they made a particular glaze mix or remembering the firing time and temperatures they used, which can cause a lot of headaches. Your approach is smart.

@briancurtis6022 Thank you, my digital controller on my kiln helps me a lot. I document every firing in my kiln app. And about the glaze combinations I be honest I'll revisit sometimes my kiln opening videos to see how they turned out 😅
