I'm ok with farming for phosphorus, but farming alloys to make 6 crown bullets is a pain in the ass, they were already expensive enough, and ethanol, I use more medkits then the ethanol I get to craft them

oh the furnace is completely broken which should get fixed in January hopefully, as for ethanol you get shit loads of med kits by just doing the weekly challenges, also worth getting the skill that boosts your meds kits by 60% so you use them less

It's just a vulture with a flamethrower. The weapons parts farming method I used after you could finally kill rivals instead of disarming them was to go after all of the set spawns on the map ON THE WAY Overland to my nearest rival. So many players bypass all of the set spawns and only destroy rivals. AITA 😅

i'll have a base showcase coming soon :) as for rivals yeah it doesn't matter how you kill machines the game just registers each kill towards region score/ lvl so this kills two birds with one stone :)

@@KilroyPlays also i wonder will they fix part of the bases being destory by the On portable turrets explosion cause my base litterly all went down in matter of like 10 seconds when i frist tryed it i was like guess my design litterly has no effect so changing it to way u did urs probly be better cause i have south coast base at Ball park area with the tower and other forest on top of mount which i know the 2 area the spawn from old defense way but i never try the new one there yet but i rather play it safe to how they spawn in that area cause i am not sure if each diffitculy levels changes there spawn ways or does it say the same

sadly i dont think they will fix that because the portable missile silo thingo has been doing it since it first got released, i try now just to put it as far away from the base as possible so it tracks and still shoots and machines but the likelihood of it being able to target a machine on the opposite side of the base and destroy said base is a lot lower. in my opinion anyways :)

What control points do you use for each region for this method? Im afraid to invest alot on a control point when i have another same station that could be better?

farmlands hands down the revinen control point and im making a video on my main base there and why i chose it but you only have to defend 1 side so you can set up all your defences and its a turkey shoot for the sniper towers, as for the other regions i'm still playing around with a few so i'll get back to you on the other 3 regions

Nice vid. I think I'm one of the few lucky ones, as what I care about crafting in the game doesn't rely upon the new update/base defending. (Homing Turrets, Repair Kits and Explosive Dog-Toy Things). Also the sheer amount of HE Dual Purpose rounds dropping is insane in a great/fun way. Over two days of playing I farmed 3500+ rounds of them. Makes base assaults a piece of cake these days. Never enjoyed the base defense stuff and glad I still don't have to worry about them. Oh - and I am getting the new Experimentals specifically off of level 4 rivals. (Single player only, level 77). Keep up the good work.

Just a warning for anyone that has an active base assault mission near where they're fighting the bosses. I had the reaper fight the vulture and the vulture body landed inside the base assault location and I could not loot it. it kept disappearing when I got too close to the base. I eventually went on the finish the base assault but the body disappeared. Don't know if they fix that with this last update.

yeah I've had the same issues with firebirds and other machines just randomly disappearing lol although i can imagine your frustrations with it being the vulture

no its a 55 inch 4k monitor (its basically a tv but better) and my 4080 doesnt struggle with anything thankfully, its water cooled as well so temps are perfect and yeah haven't had an issue with a game since i built this pc :)

The thing that gets me is going through the motions to spawn a reaper/vulture. Then basically just waste a few thousand rounds to kill said boss. That drops absolutely nothing of value to me. Me and my buddy i play with killed one early and I’ve literally gotten better drops from runnees and hunters… That is BS in my opinion. Just feels like a slap to the face doing all that work for no profite.

That's the case for the reaper... not the vulture, vulture is a guaranteed exp weapon drop so i recommend not wasting your time on the reaper unless your wanted the exp sledgehammer

this guy is clueless, difficulty has no bearing on how good your loot drops are, it just affects the enemy strength. And the reason people are complaining about farming in the new update is because 3 drills on hard difficulty will give you like 80 phosphorus, which is if you can keep all 3 drills up with the crazy spam of tanks and hunters. A single reinforced wall costs 5 phosphorus, and some augments cost over 1300+ phosphorus, it's ridiculously unbalanced.

you'd be surprised how quick you can stack up the new mats, and build up your region lvl and score to spawn in rivals. glad you like the base! i have a few design at certain control points now so i might have to do a base showcase

everytime you destroy a base assault you get command tokens, you need 20 command tokens to occupy a control point again

Just got the game and i'm still confused with world difficulty and base defense difficulty ! ? It feels like only base defense difficulty (low/medium/high) affects the drill output, and not the world difficulty (adventure/skirmish/guerrilla) !

world difficulty will determine how hard the machines are and how much damage you take from them whereas the difficulty setting on your base defence building along with world difficulty impact your drops, i cover it in the base defence guide

Im in medium difficulty and i did an easy drill a medium drill and a hard drill and the hard drill gives like around 580 the medium 60 and the easy 20 so should i just do hard drills

I have no Problem with grinding for hours. My problem with this update is that I am forced to play base defence. Im not a hughe fan of the base defence. Its fun to play it from time to time, but I like to run around and search for machines to take them down stealthy. I cant really do that with base defence.

pretty much to sum it up, the grind exists in most games and not everyone's cup of tea depending on how demanding it is however GZ always been a PVE game regardless if solo or coop also to add the game allows you to play the way you want regardless if you want to use the most punchy weapons or go full for honor mode and melee every machine you encounter course if you want the weapons you like to do additional stuff your gonna need to do some extra grinding for them to get it but its up to the player how badly they want it and at what pase they wanna take it at.

i mean you can stack up some good extra damage just by spotting enemies or even having your companion spot enemies which give an extra 20% damage to whateverr machine is spotted so pretty useful

Well, I killed over a hundred lvl4 rivals and got one experimental. we did 3 waves of drill defense, and only the host got rewards. after 163 hours of gameplay, im still missing more than half the experimentals and really bored, so yea, this grind is stupid at the end of a games story I shouldn't have to spend days grinding wave defense for 1 gun at best. We played on medium difficulty.
